She’s had plenty of time on multiple occasions to help people understand her plan. She has done just that. Problem is, it’s the dumbest shit I have ever seen in politics and she thinks it’s brilliant. People understand it’s an unrealistic plan and she’s pumping it like it would actually benefit people.

AOC is one example of the failure of our public schools to really educate. She knows nothing of our history.
Taxing the rich will not pay for what she is proposing. It will help if we are smart and use it to slow the rise of debt. But it will not pay for the green new deal.

You can disagree w/ someone w/o lying about their intelligence. Ben Shapiro is brilliant. Jordan Peterson is brilliant. Grover Norquist is brilliant. I can't stand any of them. Woody Allen is brilliant and in accord with me politically and I still can't stand him.

I don't think anyone has an issue with saying that there are people who they don't agree with politically that are, indeed brilliant. I think the issue is with calling AOC brilliant. On the flip side, you can think someone is a moron even if you agree with them politically. Well, some of us can anyways.
Look, she said the constitution was changed so FDR would not get re-elected. FDR died in office, and that is but one of many examples where she showed her ignorance, so no, she is far from brilliant. Probably a nice girl, but dumber than a rock.
My support for AOC in this thread has largely consisted of defending her overall intelligence. I've mentioned the NGD as a "good start" to addressing climate change and the research she has cited in support of it as peer-reviewed and respectable, which is certainly supportive, but nowhere near the sheeplike identity politics you want to pin on me.
Full disclosure: I do strongly support both her and Rep. Omar (and while we're at it, Rep. Tlaib, too), but at no point has that compromised the integrity of anything I've said here. Saying someone is intelligent is complimentary, but it's not a sign of bias. Saying someone's ideas/plans are a good start is validating, but it's not a sign of partisanship. They're both measured, reserved, completely reasonable statements.

Fairer than anything anyone else has said, but there's a difference between claiming it hypothetically and out of context and recognizing it in real time. We all know certain grammar rules when presented with a worksheet focusing on it, but we than make careless mistakes when typing in real time. Any examples you give me now just to prove the point would come across as contrived. (That's also not what I did, as I volunteered that info before being prompted as an example of what y'all ought to be doing, though it's too late right now.)

A smart man would choose a moderate that has as little to do with AOC and Bernie as possible. Somebody that won’t use trumps childlike antics and knows the only way to success is appealing to the middle.
You're equating memorized fact and proper phrasing with intellect. Off the top of my head, I don't remember the capital of South Dakota, and if asked, I might accidentally say the capital of North Dakota instead. So what?
When politicians you support make embarrassing errors , I bet you excuse it pretty easily as a harmless misstatement or speaking too fast or something other than a sign of diminished intellectual capacity. People on my side of center make fun of our President by diagramming his sentences, but really, stopping midsentence and restating it differently, repeating a word, adding an "um" or "y'know" -- those are all pretty common speaking conventions. Speaking in a fairly casual, conversational way isn't supposed to be as clean as a revised and proofread essay.
The 22nd Amendment was inspired by FDR's 3rd election so that no President after him could run for a third term. It's pretty easy and reasonable to give AOC the benefit of the doubt on botching her phrasing if you haven't decided ahead of time to call anything and everything she says stupid.
I'm not currently content with the field, though someone could emerge from it. I don't know of someone else I definitely wish would join the field.
