Donnie sucks. Yeah he’s the President, but he’s scum. Need someone more moderate.

Bert I quoted scriptures for you.... All your arguments about religion fail. Its your opinion against my facts. God wouldn't be happy going against his word.

My point is religion is not a moral compass. It doesn't take a god fearing, bible thumper to realize what is moral. The constitution when it was written, didn't include blacks. All those guys pretty much owned slaves.

The 3/5 rule. It is in the constitution. Read it. God you are ignorant of history.

I voted for Hillary and I think she would have been a significantly better President than President Trump. What she wouldn't have accomplished, however, is firing up progressives. We'd have done the same stupid thing we did after President Obama's election: pat ourselves on our backs for an historical first, then sit back all complacent while an even worse Tea Party was the only group taking it to heart when Hillary echoed Obama's call for everyone to chip in and do their part.

President Trump will be reelected. At the end of his 8 years, we will be in way worse shape than before wrt climate change, wealth disparity, foreign relations, civil rights, political corruption, national debt, corporate royalty, judicial extremism, social division, and more.

A moderate isn't going to fix that. A moderate will make that continuing decline temporarily less turbulent. The only thing that's going to fix anything is going to be a progressive who takes on desperate issues with the fervor they require, or outright revolution.

Hahahahahahahahahhahah!

Yep. Then after eight years of that, we will go even further right. And then after eight years of that, we will go even further left. The only way to battle extreme is to be even more extreme. Look at how well fighting racism with racism has worked.

But let's be real. The world is not going to be here in 12 years anyways.

And are we really talking about political corruption after what Obama and hilldogg pulled with the FISA warrants and the whole Russian hoax?

If trump is 10% as bad as you and nearly all media claim, how in gods name does he get re elected? If we are sliding so far down concerning climate change, wealth disparity, foreign relations, civil rights, political corruption, national debt, corporate royalty, judicial extremism, social division, and more....how do you suppose he gets re elected? If you find these extreme left progressives to be the only answer—-why can’t they be elected against what you consider the most terrible pres ever?

Your question assumes that elections are necessarily meritorious. They are not. They suffer from both the voters themselves (ill-informed, single issue, different priorities, etc...) and structural issues (first past the post, two-party system, electoral college, distribution of voters, etc...). And that's a really basic point that you surely understood before you posted. But if you don't, then consider that Americans spend more time planning vacations than planning for retirement and what that means for elections.

There is not ONE politician that could withstand a 2 year investigation, CIA, FBI and 92% of negative, 24 hour, 7 day a week media bashing that Trump has been through.

And if the Democrats in Congress want his tax returns so bad, then I want to see their returns for the last 20 years. I want to see how they go to DC with nothing and become multi millionaires on a 174K anual salary.

I would throw trump out myself to have coach taylor in office.
A true leader of men. Clear eyes, full hearts...

Edit: Damn, I am a dunce. Accidentally typed the actor’s name instead of the character’s name. I guess I would take Kyle Chandler as POTUS, but only if he is playing the role of Eric Taylor 24/7.

Whataboutism. Every President released their returns until Trump came along.

Trump doesn't want to give up his returns because he doesnt want to provide a glimpse into his actual net worth. Income is obviously only a small part of wealth, but he has built up a persona that he's an extraordinary and successful businessman. In reality, he made one particularly good real estate purchase at the start of his career (with dad's help) and became a successful reality TV star after that. In between those things, he sank business after business. I'm being hyperbolic, but he's not the tycoon he holds himself out as.

I want his returns released just for the embarrassment he would feel and the bruise to his enormous self-righteous ego. I don't much care about the potential Russian investment income or the like.

Trump has been audited and watched by the IRS for years. They don’t let shit go. If they deemed him following the rules then who the hell really cares. I’m sure he has worked every gd loophole tens times over and I’m sure he makes much less than he claims. It sure is starting to seem like they are resorting to looking in the cushions of the couch for something to burn him on.

Didn't happen because it doesn't exist.

He knows how to move his base. Period.

And ML off. You don't agree with me about a single thing I listed, so your question is rhetorical anyway.

Yup. He was full of it from the moment he hit the reply button.

I do agree with much of this. Uninformed voters, electoral college, and especially the two party system are huge issues in my opinion. I really think a socially liberal candidate that is a right leaning moderate fiscally, would be the ideal modern candidate that could do so much great things. However, this will never happen in our two party system and we all lose because of it.

I like Rob Zombie. Had a few friends go last year to Louisville or somewhere to watch him.
