Well, you were pretty wrong already after that first sentence. Kaep's message has been very clear. People chose to get outraged over the flag instead. Here, anyway, there's a pretty high rate of correlation between the people who deny the possibility of racism at each and every turn and the people who focused on criticizing Kaep for the method of his protest.
You make some fair points, but as some one who folllowed the situation from a distance I have no idea what his message was. I’m being serious. Go google it, and 20 different answers come up. That was the point of my post. Same goes with Ferguson and other race situations. I guarantee you the information I read and see on a daily basis is far different from you. It’s a problem, and that is why people should communicate and the like.
I’m always open to listen, but most of the time I just shake my head bc im a pragmatist. Most issues can be fixed, but no one wants to have the hard conversations. Victim and entitlement mentalities are real things, and have become very detrimental to our society.
The point of my rant is me and you obviously differ in political ideology, but in the grand scheme of things are not far at all from each other on the political spectrum (edit). Compromise is absolutely a possibility. The media and congress polarize so no one pays attention to the fact that Memebers of a congress on average increase their net worth by 113% ever single year. Bottom line is we all suffer (not reach full potential) while the elite (both parties politicians and their friends/family) continue to get rich. Tell me how I am wrong?
