Bruce Pearl would be in Kentucky faster than anyone else. He would love to coach a blue blood program. Pearl is a very good recruiter and way better than Calipari as a game day coach.
I think I would have more fun with y'all making the case for him being the greatest.

As long as 9 wins is an 'improvement' for your team, STFU, BLOCKHEAD.
It will be a mid-major coach. No power 5 coach would want to go there making the same money with more pressure & a shorter leash.
If Mark Pope turns UK down I will officially be worried.

Probably about the same as UNC felt about Hubert Davis and Duke fans felt about Scheyer. There aren’t any legacy replacements. Just unknowns. Its worked out for them, so I have no reason to think Pope couldn’t join them.
I have a better chance of landing Margot Robbie as a side piece than Pope turning down Kentucky.
It's starting to feel like you could make a documentary about this coaching search... for entertainment purposes, I think it's only fair that we extend the search another three weeks.

I can't imagine he's the #1 target. He's a candidate... but still probably second-tier.
To his credit, though, Pope runs a really good offense. And he's doing that with just 1 top 100 recruit. He'd be fine with the type of talent he could recruit at Kentucky.
I have heard his family is very religious. Maybe they are Branch Davidians. 😬
