Big news brewing in Lexington today

Yeah, he just doesn't have the skill set for the NBA and it's not just something everyone can develop. Look at Hansbrough. Dominant college player. Pros, not so much and he was a lotto pick.
It sounds bad, but I'll take whatever he has in his head that says come back. If he thinks he can develop into a lottery player by playing at UK one more year, so be it. I can't wait to watch him go to work.

Excited to see what he can add to his arsenal over the course of another off-season. He def needs to develop a bit more of a face up game if he wants a shot in the pros. Not just a 16-foot standing jumper.

For the record... on a human level Im happy for Oscar and his family. I hate how it went down with him quitting and leaving a really good/contender type team in the middle of a season... but i still think hes a good kid and im glad he can take care of his family with this big time NIL money he has coming.

O was never happy there and always wanted to play for UK. I don't think it reflects bad for WVU, maybe for Huggins and his comments.

Luka Garza went 52nd last year if that tells you anything and he can shoot 3's.
Garzas game doesn’t translate to present nba imo compared to Oscar’s…esp if he was utilized as a PF. Man’s averaged over 15 rebounds a game, and doesn’t necessarily need a 3. Look at Montrezl Harrell.

Right now Oscar would be a rebounding specialist and that's about it. He lacks the size and athleticism the NBA covets. Harrell doesn't have great size but is a freak athlete. Oscar's kryptonite is longer/bigger players he can't just muscle out of the way, and he'd be facing those guys every day in the NBA. Also doesn't really have a face-up game at this point mainly due to limitations with ball-handling (again lack of elite athleticism plays into this). The attributes that make him dominant are strength, great understanding of positioning, timing, quick 2nd jump, and a non-stop motor.

Rodman had a good career, until he de-railed lol, as a rebounder at 6'7". He would've fit in that era. I hate it for the big guy. He's going to do well outside of basketball, when he chooses. Lexington is going to make sure of that.

A better comparison for Oscar is Chuck Hayes, who managed to have a long and successful NBA career which was much more recent. Those types of players are very few and far between in the current NBA though.

10k bonus points if you name the only person to win the "Chuck Hayes Heart of a Champion Award"?

Yes big time... he was top 3 heisman favorite heading into 2021

Health is his only issue....
If you play behind Stetson Bennett, health ain't your only issue. Head coaches and OC's are going to play the best player.

Chris Gettlefinger?
Little know fact about him; he was in Dazed and Confused.

$2 million in NIL.

What do you get as a second rounder in the NBA?
The contract terms for second-round picks differ from first-rounders and are not fully guaranteed. Players in the past often haven’t received large guarantees in their contracts while others signed two-way deals or didn’t receive a deal at all.

*1st round

Check the FanDuel heisman odds there Bear Bryant
LOl heisman odds? Jt daniel was high on heisman odds also going into last season. Auburn quarterback Jeremy Johnson had the 3rd highest heisman odds going into the 2015 season. He was a compete bust.

The current QB that had more wins than yours did and a bowl win last season? Yeah, him.
Auburn was complete shit last season. Using that as a talking point and your barometer is not a good thing to help your cause

Wanna make a ban bet on who gets drafted first?
