****Official B1G In-Season Thread****

Purdue is without:

Almost the entire coaching staff
Our 2nd team All B1G QB
Our All American WR
Our All B1G TE
2 starting OL
Our 2 best Defensive players
4 of our top 6 DBs

This isn’t even the same team.
Bro LSU had a group train including a player and coaches on a recruiting chick

Apples and Raisins. LSU has 4 stars backing up most of those guys.

Eh, I kind of disagree with that- not LSU's fault they recruit that much better.

Still, Purdue is going through a head coaching change, and their starting QB isn't playing today- big, big differences.

But, Purdue just scored at least..

Quasi switching subjects, is the Big Ten getting rid of divisions in football when USC & UCLA come? IMO, Big Ten West teams are hoping they stay, while Big Ten East teams outside of Ohio State & Michigan hope they are gone.

I think they will have to. I’d go one division with 2-3 protected rivals per team and top 2 teams play for conference championship. That’s the equitable way to do it.

If you have 16 teams and 3 protected rivals, that’s 12 unprotected rivals to play the other 6 games. Then, once every 4 years, you play at each of those other 6 teams and once you play them at home.

Very Logical there- then again, I'm a MD fan, so 100% support whatever gets us out of playing Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State every single conference season :p

I'm prob wrong, however, don't think Georgia has even played at A&M yet since they came to the SEC.

Difficult decision for the Big Ten Powers- no one decision will make everyone happy- assuming they will go with the choice that can give them the most money.

Yeah, that’s dumb. Part of the pitch to recruits is the opportunity to play in hallowed stadiums like the Shoe and Happy Valley.

I have been to the SHOE (ironically for a lacrosse game instead of football) and Happy Valley for a non Maryland Game. Tailgating for Penn State's game that day was AMAZING, and I can't describe how big the Shoe is. Can't lie, wish Maryland was a lot better in football.

If you didn't make money on LSU today, you should probably never gamble on sports again.

Never been an easier layup than that game being less than a 20+ point spread.

Now it's time to refocus on what matters: Rutgers ruining another No. 1 ranking for Purdue beginning in 90 minutes. Nature healing itself in realtime.

Purdue really doesn't need excuses at this point. Their history tells it all. It just is what it is.
Cool? We still lose this game if all of our best players play but we likely don’t get embarrassed. Not sure what the point of your post was lol.

The homeboard is embarrassing right now. Way too many grown men lashing out like emotional 13 yr old girls. Everyone knew it was going to be an @ss raping.
This game was completely irrelevant even before our coach left and best players opted out. I debated even watching today.

I am ready to get hurt tonight tho.
