6th Annual College Basketball Draft

Yeah, essentially 48 hours for him. Otherwise, he'd be skipped for two picks when he's only guilty of one infraction.

Honestly, though, we're a little behind in this draft. We need to average 5+ picks a day, and lately it's been around 3. I'll give it until Saturday or Sunday, and if the trend continues we might have to lower the 24 hour clock to 12 or 16 hours. I'd rather not have the draft bleeding into the start of the season.
I’d be down for a move to 16 hours or so if needed.

DD, you might need to spot us some draftable guys near the end when we’ve basically depleted the top 100 lists.

For sure. I think at the close of Round 7, I'll provide a list of the remaining guys that are my draft radar. Should be 100+ players.

Since @dukedevilz has 2 Baylor guards I’m going to go 2 Tar Heel guards. It looks like I get to be the only real Homer in this draft.

RJ Davis, UNC.

Sort of a risk, but if they make another run I could see him make tournament teams, and his win share last year was pretty solid.

@dukedevilz, you’re up.

I was very much considering him too. Like you said, but if a risk because he may be the third option or so, but also has AA potential.

Not a terrible strategy, IMO. Obviously I'm doing the same thing with Baylor. I feel like Baylor is a legit national title contender. UNC fits that mold, as well. With true contenders it's very possible you get 2 All-Americans from the same team. Just don't always know which 2 those will be.

admit it, you were scared i would grab him if you didn't.

Since he wasn't rated as top-10 recruit, I figured no one would take him in the first 3 rounds. But, the Almanac had him at #39. That's what really made me nervous.

Should be a big-time impact player. I fully expect him to be Alabama's go-to player.

Welp, looks like DePaul isn't going to win the Big East after all.
see this is the difference in perspective between being a fan of a powerhouse like Duke and being a fan of DePaul.

You, as a Duke fan, read that as bad news. Whereas me, as a DePaul fan, can't help but key on the very first 3 words in the tweet, SIGNIFICANT DEPAUL NEWS, and think yea baby we're important again!!
