@dukedevilz for games this week please don't use any of the Dayton games. Just use Thursday and Friday games so we have a little extra time to do our picks and get up to date info on the injuries.
I was leaning towards using the Nevada/Arizona State and Pitt/Miss State games. But, I can appreciate if others feel rushed.
What do others think? First games to use on Thursday - or use some First Four Matchups that begin Tuesday? I'll make a decision within the next hour.
I mean it’s a free pickem so it doesn’t really matter but I’m fine with no play-in games this week
I vote we be given the opportunity to make full use of the a few days of research especially given all the injuries.

Saint Mary's is capable of making the Sweet 16, for sure. But, they could just as easily lose to a really solid defensive team in VCU.
I'd give SMC roughly a 60% of winning, so the pick is a gamble. But, so are 8-9 and 7-10 matchups. Might as well go for something with a little more value.
1. He's white and his name is Aidan, so not a huge threat.

Last night Jay Bilas compared Aidan Mahaney to Henry Steele, from the movie One one One. I kind of like that comparison. They're both very small - and crafty with the ball. Check out this pass that Steele made in the movie. (clearly an authentic pass that wasn't edited). Very Rondo or Maravich-esque.
Mahaney has had a few brilliant passes in his own right. Had a fantastic one against Gonzaga in overtime, which I can't find. But, also had this gem against BYU. Dude is a baller and could very well be an All-American next season. Randy Bennett plays him more off the ball, but I actually think he's better suited as a point than Logan Johnson. He makes excellent reads. But, he's also a deadly spot-up shooter, so I can appreciate wanting to free him up a little bit.

So, I missed the Tennessee game as I was taking my kids out to see a monster truck show. And then I saw a score update somewhere. Oh well.
March is a crazy month in general for me. Wife has her birthday coming up next Monday - all three kids have their birthdays in March. I hate it. Like, let's switch birthdays already. I get March and you guys can have the whole month of May. My only hope is to indoctrinate the kids into loving basketball as much as I do.
