8th Annual College Basketball Draft

My Way Too Early Top 15 Players for 2025-26
1. Braden Smith, Purdue
2. JT Toppin, Texas Tech
3. Cameron Boozer, Duke
4. AJ Dybansta, BYU
5. Darryn Peterson, Kansas
6. Yaxel Lendeborg, Michigan
7. Donovan Dent, UCLA
8. Milos Uzan, Houston
9. Trey Kaufman-Renn, Purdue
10. Zuby Ejiofor, St. John's
11. Tahaad Pettiford, Auburn
12. Otega Oweh, Kentucky
13. Ja'Kobi Gillespie, Tennessee
14. Graham Ike, Gonzaga
15. Bruce Thornton, Ohio State

Wouldn't be surprised if Lendeborg stays in the draft. If he comes back, I think he could very easily be an All-American. Not thoroughly researched, so probably omitting some guys.
3 freshmen in the top 5 is pretty bold.

Winning by 0.1 points is freaking wild.

Also, of your 9 guys that scored, all of them had at least 8.2 points, which is really impressive. I mean, Ace Baldwin was the Big Ten DPOY and he was 8th on your team in scoring. Your depth was next level good.

Not sure exactly where they'll fall. But, those 3 guys will clearly be the go-to players on their respective teams. Duke and BYU should be top 10 teams - and Kansas might be if they can add a few more pieces in the offseason (they've got a longer ways to go, hence dropping Peterson below the other 2 freshmen). I don't see a whole lot of separation individually between the top 3 freshmen. Wouldn't be the least bit surprised if all 3 were All-Americans.

I'd say there's a decent gap between the #3 freshmen and Nate Ament, or whoever the 4th best freshmen is.

@Necessary Roughness shocks the world and takes down @boilerz by a mere 0.1 points. Wild!

Two posters competing for the title. And then another 5 posters were within striking distance of the bronze.

Here are the 25 most valuable players from the draft in October. Quite the 1-2-3 punch from boilerzz. Just needed a little more depth.

I made another podium! I’ll take it. Maybe one of these years I’ll actually win.

Guess that makes me Virginia, and I just fell ass backwards into a win.

Your team was awesome, though. Takes something pretty special to outperform another team with 3 1st Team All-Americans. Your 8th and 9th men in Ace Baldwin and Daniel Batcho were no slouches! Big Ten and CUSA Defensive POY. Very well done. No weak links on your roster.

If you’re trying to tell me that I’ll never win it then I’d rather you just say so.

@boilerzz. I’d also @ a Houston fan if I knew of any of them.

If I were a betting man, I'd say Houston and Purdue start next season 1-2 in the polls. They've both played in the national title within the past 12 months. And I believe at least one of those schools will return to the Final Four in 2026. Not bad company. The elusive title evades you all, but feels like it will happen sooner than later.
