6th Annual College Basketball Draft

Jamison Battle, Minnesota

@JimboBBN
Interesting case. I wouldn’t be shocked to see him put up 20 or more on good efficiency, he’s a great player. Minnesota on the other hand, I think bottom four Big Ten. If he can fuel Minny to a good season though, high potential pick.

He didn’t do as much for me last year as I had hoped he would, but I’m going to go back to the well. He had too many no-show games last year which I hope he can clean up. I also think they’ll win a decent amount of games. Maybe he can increase his win shares and get an all conference nod.

Boogie Ellis, USC

@duckboy33, it’s your pick.

Dang it. Colby was my next target.

Pretty stinky area of the draft, I don’t really love anyone available. Was planning to take Kel’el here. I need a few more minutes to decide

so predictable. probably gonna draft Prefontaine with your last pick just for ceremonial purposes.

bahahaha one of the best draft comments ever.

Dang it. Colby was my next target.

He's been in my top 5 since Round 5. If Colby Jones could develop a jump shot, he'd have a realistic shot at winning Big East POY. Probably won't happen, but he's uber-talented.

Kyle Filipowski is still available, though.

@dukedevilz do you think Filipowski is still worth a pick? Isn’t he coming off the bench?

The concern coming in was his defense. He got burned several times on pick-and-rolls in the Blue-White scrimmage. It's going to be hard to play Flip and Lively together. They may see a little time, but yes, I fully expect Filipowski to come off the bench. Mark Mitchell will start at the 4.

He's still very, very skilled. And he'll still see a decent amount of time on the court. But, I wouldn't expect him to average double-figures. Not worth a pick, in my estimation.

It’s pretty much a stonewall of silence after every one of my picks, and I can’t imagine it’s because they’re so good it’s intimidating everyone.

For such a meaningless thing, it has me ready to jump off a bridge.
I like KD Johnson a lot actually, I was considering taking him if you hadn’t. He’s shown the ability to be an efficient player, just not last year. I think there’s a really solid chance he’s the leading or 2nd scorer on a top 25 team. If he can improve that efficiency, serious serious upside this late.

You really liked my pick?
