I haven't played a video game in decades either but do recall Pitfall Atari 2600 being alright in my days as a youth.
I had an Atari 2600 as well and Pitfall used to piss me off so much when I was a kid. If I’m remembering correctly I also had an Atari 5200 before I got a Nintendo when they came out
