How much will the committee use NET rankings?

Palm came out with his bracketology yesterday and has MSU and PSU both as 4 seeds. MSU is ranked 8th in NET and PSU 27th.

Huh?

That is the main ranking system they use

Palm also sucks at his job so take that with a grain of salt

Just read in the Athletic that Zavier Simpson doesn’t talk to the media after losses, only wins. Is that true UM guys? He doesn’t want to answer questions when things go bad?

I’ve seen videos of him talking after losses.

85th best bracketologist...I can't believe CBS still hires him.
I listen to Norlander and Parrish's podcast pretty religiously and they are both great with utilizing metrics and such. Every time they reference Palm, I wonder if they do so only because he works for CBS and they have to. I can't imagine they don't realize how bad he is at this stuff.

I will need to check out their podcast. Parrish bothers me, so I quit following him. I have always really liked Norlander.

Parrish gets long winded at time. I listen in my car at 1.5xspeed (do that for most podcasts) so it's a little less of an issue. He does know his stuff tho.

Norlander is easily one of the best in the biz.

Norlander did an interview with Steve Lillywhite, famous music producer, and it was one of the best interviews I have listened to. That particular interview is about Dave Matthews Band's album Before These Crowded Streets, but I believe they were supposed to hook back up and discuss others.

He has very deep knowledge of music for sure. It spills into some of the podcasts but not too often.

I don’t think he’s a big media guy in general but I’ve seen him talk after losses.

Do people really care about when college athletes do or don’t talk to the media? That thought has never crossed my mind.

95 percent sure it is the coach or SID that decides who speaks after a game anyway. It isn't an open locker room like in the pros.

Also to your point...who the **** cares?

@bMORE607 @otte21 @VulvHa holy hell hammer the under on Michigan tonight. We are going to be running some really weird lineups tonight. 147.5 in what world?

(Full disclosure I’m not betting on it because I don’t wanna fall back into the shitstorm of carrying more about spreads than games).

Does New Jersey have some restriction on college betting through sportsbooks? Was trying to fade the Boilers tonight, but can't find the game on DraftKings. Same thing happened when IU and Rutgers played earlier this season.

I believe you cant bet NJ teams (i.e Rutgers) on New Jersey betting sites. If I recall correctly used to be the same for UNLV in Vegas. All their games were off the board.

Must be this because I’ve placed bets on ncaab through Fanduel while in NJ.

Looks like a weird level, but I’m not going to bet enough on this where it’s worth me bothering my NJ buddy.

We just broke your program.

Haha. Sounds like yore dreams are still intact. One game don’t mean shit.

Was gonna break out something special for you if we had held on. Now will have to wait til next time.
