***Official B1G In-Season Thread***

MSU’s resume speaks for itself but MSU isnt some great team. No one is this year.

Just a one in a thousand combo of MSU playing it’s worst game possible and Purdue plating its best game possible I guess.
One in a thousand? Lol... Guess that ass beating has msu fans imagining things.

Sitting at 14-4 and am pretty happy. We haven’t played well consistently, but we’ve won the games we should have and don’t have any bad losses.

Two HUGE games this week at home against MSU and Maryland. I think we can win both, but my guess is we split and go 1-1.

So is the league just loaded top to bottom? Trying to figure out what's going on with tOSU, have they just played a brutal part of schedule? Do they have injuries?

Indiana just had what traditionally would have have been a soft road trip to Rutgers and to Nebraska. It was not soft. Rutgers is a legit team and nebby already beat Iowa and Purdue at home. No gimmes anywhere.

good news just saw this posted for Hawk fans Garza is returning for his SR season this was confirmed by his father,

he still has a few things to work on. that was all.

To put into perspective just how good home teams in the Big Ten have been this year, the highest home win % ever in a conference was the 2004 Mountain West at 77%, and the highest in the power 5 ever was 2007 SEC at 75%.

The Big Ten home teams are winning 85.4% of the time.

Let's assume that every big 10 team I ranked 1-14 in the country, everyone is at their peak. What is the best home court advantage in the league?

Indiana - "Carnegie" (Assembly) Hall
Purdue - Mackey Arena
MSU - Breslin Center
Maryland - Xfinity Center
Wisco - Kohl Center
Rutgers - The RAC
Minnesota - "The Barn" (Williams Arena)
Nebraska - Pinnacle Bank Arena
Illinois - State Farm Center
Iowa - Hawkeye Carver
Michigan - Crisler Center
Northwestern - Welsh Ryan Arena
Ohio St. - Value City Arena
Penn St - Bryce Jordan Center

I feel good about the first group but it gets muddy fast.

Its already tough to win on the road, what is the toughest it could be?

They had two players suspended by the coach recently, but have been surprisingly bad in conference play. Like most teams they haven't played well on the road and lost all those games, but the bigger problem is they are only 2-1 at home. Haven't watched them enough to know what their problem is.

HR what's the matter do you hate any positive news for Fran?
I just looked at the post. Secondhand story from a casino from a poster with 69 posts. I’m not going to put much stock into that. I really hope it’s true though, and Luka returns for his senior season.

They lost a starter for a few games too, but I can't remember his name hungover.

I don't think he can defend NBA 5s, but I'm not sure that changes with an extra season. Second round pick no matter what. I can see him staying... if Jesus returns. We've been hearing that for 2000 years though.

Why are you so angry all the time? It was a simple question---Yet you answer as you always do. I mean do you really think fans on here hate Iowa? That they are concerned with Iowa? And or Fran?

It depends on the team. The Breslin Center is clearly #1 for Iowa. That place is a nightmare for us.

Northwestern sitting at 103 kenpom will they be another top 100 win by the end of the season?

he is very good 3 point shooter that stretches the floor. nobody is going to ask him to guard people on the perimeter.

the other thing that will make him valuable will be his FT shooting and rebounding ability.

and yours keeps flowing out of your mouth. why would I make up something that is important for Iowa/Fran?

Yeah , duh, that why he would be drafted. He's not a first round lock though so there's a decision for him to make. If he was a guaranteed 1st rounder, I think he leaves.

Jordan will be back, but he won't need to start. as he is more of a SG now and with Fredrick the pressure of him playing 30+ mpg is not there.

starting 5 for the 20-21 season
PG Toussaint backup Jordan/Ulis
SG Fredrick backup Jordan/Perkins
WG Wieskamp Patrick/Kris Murray
WG Connor backup Pemsl/Keegan Murray
C Garza backup Nunge/Ungundele.
possible RS's out of that group
Ogundele
Ulis
Perkins

You don't think Bohannon is going to start next year? RollLaughRollLaughLaughingRollLaughRollLaugh
If he's healthy he starts over Joe T.

I feel he will do like Cook did after his SO season go and get feed back

one of the things to me he needs to work on the most is passing the ball out to open shooters.

but here is the thing about the NBA he WON'T face dbl or triple teams. in spite of that he is still avg'ing 22+ ppg and 10+ rpg. NBA people don't ignore that.
