Why doesn’t Garza just go out to the three point line? That would drag three UM defenders out of the play leaving Iowa to play 4 on 2. I mean, this is common sense.
This is the first time I’ve brought this up all year because I realize college refs are bad for everyone, but Minnesota and Iowa have been called for a combined 7 fouls in 50 minutes.
The Big Ten home advantage is like no other. To be honest, the refs play a huge part in the road record this year. Not just for the bad calls, but also for taking the momentum out of teams, or swallowing their whistle when the home team has momentum.
