You know just for the sake of argument, consider this chicken-and-egg equation:
(1) IU fans act like their program is thought of as unique or elite, even if no one else in the Big Ten agrees.
(2) Big Ten fans find this weird and annoying, and think it’s funny if on-court evidence contradicts this.
(3) IU fans use #2 to justify that #1 obviously has to be true. 😂
No one would hate on IU if Indiana fans didn’t look down on other programs no matter where they happen to be in the pecking order at any given moment … they even manage to find misplaced elitism in the years they aren’t good because their frustration with it shows what high standards they have (in their minds).
We’re 2-0 vs the ass pirates though. And the girl Kris only scored 5 against us last week.
