8th Annual College Basketball Draft

With my last pick, I select Trey Kaufmann-Renn, Purdue. Purdue is the most post centric program in the country over the last decade and I expect TKR to be the beneficiary of that continued effort. He'll average 15 and 8 and likely end up 2nd team All Big Ten IMO.

@IUfanBorden and @FaithPlusOne are both on the clock.

Some damn good players went undrafted again, including:

Alijah Martin, Florida - Was a solid pick for me last season. Could crack 2nd or 3rd team All SEC

Samson Johnson, UConn - I thought this dude was going to be a beast after seeing him as a freshman. With Clingan gone, does he present it or does Tarris Reed end up in a timeshare with him?

Kobe Johnson, UCLA - Likely favorite for B1G DPOY and could contend for the national award. Dude is a pest

KJ Adams, Kansas - The third piece of Kansas' big 3 returners. Put up better numbers last year than most realize

And many more, which I don't have time to list.

And here are the teams. I followed the drafting order pattern, and sometimes we got out of order, so let me know if I missed anything.

And here's my vaunted JV team:
Ish Leggett, Pitt
Matt Cross, SMU
Zuby Ejiofor, St. John's
Jaden Bradley, Arizona
Achor Achor, Kansas State
Owen Freeman, Iowa
Desmond Claude, USC
Cam Matthews, Mississippi State (best on-ball defender in the country)
Asa Newell, Georgia
Nique Clifford, Colorado State
Mason Falslev, Utah State
RJ Felton, East Carolina

The goal, as always, is to beat one team.

... I actually think @WeAreDePaul might have the strongest team this year. Shocking.

Predicted finishing order? @dukedevilz

Maybe something like...

1. WeAreDePaul
2. boilerzz
3. FaithPlusOne
4. ThePhog08
5. Necessary Roughness
6. JimboBBN

I think the top 3-5 teams have higher floors than me. I took four freshmen and Solo Ball. I do think I have a very high ceiling, though.

FWIW, I love this freshmen class. Much, much better than last year's class. Shocking that Asa Newell wasn't taken. Love Derik Queen, too. Great skillset for a big man. But, I understand his numbers will be divided a bit with Julian Reese... and being a top 15 player in the Big Ten isn't easy.

Blocked. Reported. And I quit the league. Good luck keeping this alive without me.
