That's good value at this point. My only concern with Ike is the conference he plays in and therefore his conf POY not being worth as much. Making AA would make that point moot though.
I'm betting on either Foster or KonSame! I took him in the 2022-23 draft in Round 8 or 9. That didn't pan out well, either. Fortunately, it wasn't a 2nd round pick
I have no idea who Duke's 2nd best player will be this season - I just don't think it will be Proctor.
Very well could be. Though, with how this league is set up, making the Defensive All-Conference team is the equivalent of making 3rd Team All-Conference, which could make Maliq Brown and Khaman Maluach just as valuable.
And then Scheyer mentioned yesterday that he believes Proctor could be on a similar trajectory as Wendell Moore - a highly regarded recruit who played decent his first two years, but didn't finally break out until his junior year.
Flagg, Davis, and Sallis should be All-ACC locks. So, now you're looking at 18 schools competing for 12 All-Conference spots. Very likely we'll have one more guy male it, just not sure who that might be. Don't think I would consider another Duke player until the latter half of this draft.
I think he will. I see Gonzaga as a top 5/10 team. I think Nembhard and Ike both earn at least HM All-American honors.

Damn, I missed this. I am disappointed. I got locked out of my account during my trip to Ireland/Scotland and then got sick, and then had Hurricane Helene. Just now reset everything and logged on for the first time since August.

Tough break. Hope everything has been okay since the Hurricane? I'm from Asheville and it hit my area pretty good. My family is fine, but the area itself is banged up pretty good. I'm going to be involved in cleanup projects for the next month or so.
I don't know if this will help for the future, but I typically announce the college basketball draft late September. And then the draft gets under way sometime during the first week of October.
Haha no chance. Reece Beekman went maybe 3rd or 4th round last year. And that made since as a defensive player of the year candidate. Not a whole lot of great individual options this year. Maybe Isaac McKneely in the latter rounds.
Btw, I seriously doubt Kon Knueppel will transfer. More likely to be a OAD than a transfer.
Thanks. I was please to see that you were okay. I have a good friend who lives outside Black Mountain and I didn’t hear from him for quite a few days. I was very nervous he was dead. Thankfully he was able to make it out of the wreckage alive. Long road back for him though. I went to summer camp in Black Mountain for 6 years growing up and I’ve been told that camp took devastating damage. Real sad.
We didn’t have anything like that. But lost power and spent a day chainsawing. And now just as I was helping some friends in the Tampa area clean up from Helene, Milton took it back to nothing. Tough times. Have some friends staying in Tally while they figure out what to do with their home in St. Pete.

Glad you're doing well. Black Mountain got decimated, unfortunately. My parents know someone who graduated from Owen (the local HS there) a few years back that lost double-digit classmates. Sad. It will be a slow recovery to fix a lot of these towns, physically and perhaps mentally, as well.
What summer camp was it, btw?
I have two brothers living in Tampa, actually. Not sure if their home has been impacted yet. I'm not at all used to hurricane season. Hope we can all return to normalcy soon.
Not a huge fan of taking freshmen in the early rounds, but this guy's upside is higher than your typical freshman...
