All good. I'll take Tyson Walker, Michigan State.Jahmir Young, Maryland
@boilerzz you're up. Sorry it took so long. I hope @WeAreDePaul didn't take one of the picks you wanted.
I considered taking him with my last pick. Could have a big year without Love taking 20 shots/game.Damn it I looked at the latest list but didn’t see the couple of picks after it.
RJ Davis, UNC
@duckboy33 you are up.

I think he's gonna be really good.
Bowie will go before him in the draft.I think he's gonna be really good.
No one is that dumb.Bowie will go before him in the draft.
Not sure I love that pick. We all know Dean Smith is the only one to ever slow down Michael Jordan.
How can you attend NC State and do this? NC State folks are supposed to hate UNC more than Duke. #disappointing
Ha. It’s been many years, I guess my hatred is wearing thin. Real talk, I was thinking RJ Davis and then thought “nah, UNC.” So I took Jahmir and then saw the next page that he was taken so I panicked and just went back to Davis.
Speaking of Carolina, we are in Asheville this week for a wedding and it is a beautiful week. Fall colors are spectacular. Although I am seeing too many Carolina license plates for my liking.
Bowie will go before him in the draft.
Josh Cohen, UMass
TBH, and in fairness, at the time, it wasn't a bad pick. MOF, for Portland it was the absolute right pick. It was a big mans game, then. Bowie was very athletic, could create, nice shooter...Plus Portland had Clyde. By all intents and purpsoes, it was the right pick. This might surprise some people, but I bet that same person that takes Sam Bowie will likely take Greg Oden before Kevin Durant.

Until it wasn't.
And look, with how shit turned out, Hakeem @ #1 was also " bad". Sure he had a much. much, much, not even in the same stratosphere career, than Bowie---But he to went before that Jordan guy.
Fair enough....But asides from Cyde, Portland also had Jim Paxson, who was coming off an All-Star seasons where he averaged 21ppg. Portalnd had a need---a big. Wanted Hakeem. Taking Bowie simply made sense to their roster make-up. And its not like Bowie was awful.Bowie could have been special. Certainly injuries can completely change someone's career trajectory. Just thought it was funny how the Blazers passed on Jordan and Durant.
I'm not a big fan of passing on someone just because you already have someone at that position, though. I feel like MJ-Clyde could have worked very similarly to MJ-Pippen. When the Heat had the #5 pick in the 2003 draft, Eddie Jones was their best player at the time. Pat Riley took Dwyane Wade. He was questioned on it because it seemed counterintuitive to invest in someone that plays the same spot as your star player. Riley said you can't concern yourself with what position someone plays, you take the best available player. That obviously turned out well for the Heat.
I'll let it slide this time. But if happens again, I'm reporting you to Rollie.
Fantastic! This is the best time of the year to see the outdoors in the surrounding Asheville area. Mount Mitchell, The Arboretum, Linville Falls, Triple Falls, or anywhere on the Blue Ridge Parkway. I'm hoping to make it out to Max Patch this weekend. See below.
Guessing the bride isn't from Asheville, right? Seems a little too intentional to plan for a fall wedding in this area. Biltmore Estate wedding?
For some reason, I read this with an Italian accent in my head.Bride is not. From small town in Florida. Staying at the Grove Park Inn and the wedding was at Black Balsam Knob. Was a bit chilly but lovely scenery. We came back to GPI for dinner and music.
It’s a beautiful state!

Alright @duckboy33 and @GE Nole, I'm really surprised @dukedevilz didn't take the guy I've been eyeing. Which one of you is going to break my heart?
Harris was my #2 for that reason. I think his numbers go up a bit too.I wasn't considering Dajuan Harris very strongly just last night. Thought I was deliberating between two other guys for my 5th round pick. But, I noticed Harris was the reigning Big 12 DPOY and I figure with an elite team he'll rack up a bunch of Win Shares, too.
I'll let you know if you pick one of those two guys.

DJ Wagner will be the best freshman on Kentucky’s roster. Not a whole lot of freshmen stand out to me in this class. Edwards, however, looks like one of the few who has an upside that merits draft consideration in the early rounds.
Solid pick. Was debating between Mahaney and Boogie Ellis in Round 3. Gotta imagine Boogie makes at least 1st Team All-Conference. USC has an elite backcourt - and they also have two elite defenders in Kobe Johnson and Josh Morgan. That could set up Ellis nicely for a monster year. Definitely has AA potential.
Just worry about Enfield's coaching ability, as well as their razor thin backcourt - which is only magnified by Bronny's questionable health status.
SUCKSSSSSSSS!
You do know there is no catagories for...
Ethan MortonI'll be curious to see who you're wanting to take in the 5th round. There are definitely some great value players still available.
You do know there is no catagories for...
1. Most shots
2. Most bad shots
3 Least amount of passes
4. Most heat checks
Right?
