I do think he's the most versatile defender we've probably ever seen.
Kawhi and Draymond are more versatile defenders than Lebron, IMO.

Oh I disagree. Draymond can’t cover guards the way LeBron can and Kawhi can’t cover bigs as well.Kawhi and Draymond are more versatile defenders than Lebron, IMO.
They are not equal scorers. Mj the far superior scorer.
Dude, LBJ is literally unstoppable in the post. You're confusing scoring and shooting.Nope
MJ wishes he could’ve played bully ball like Bron. Yet Bron’s ability to physically dominate anyone wouldn’t have played in an era where banging bodies was apparently more prevalent.Dude, LBJ is literally unstoppable in the post. You're confusing scoring and shooting.

Not true. MJ didn't have to play that way to be the GOAT. Lebron still has some work to do.
Not entirely true. MJ couldn’t play the way LeBron plays bully ball. Regardless, the point is this “tough” league in the 90s wouldn’t have slowed Bron down. He would’ve flourished in it.
So, again, Russell>Horry>MJ>Kobe>LBJ.Again, MJ didn't have to have to play that way. He's the GOAT for a reason. MJ wouldn't allow his team to lose in the finals. LBJ and Miami got worked by Dallas, a team that Dirk led and his best years behind him. Had MJ got to the finals has much as LBJ he'll have more rings. You can't reward second place and if you do you'll may as well say the Buffalo Bills should be mentioned as one of the best teams ever.
There is definitely some middle ground in there. Rings aren’t everything but you aren’t giving titles the respect they deserve. The fact that MJ has LBJ doubled up right now is pretty huge in the debate. So, again, Russell>Horry>MJ>Kobe>LBJ.
Scorching. Got it.
Let’s go the eye test route, just for fun.
If you put together a 5 minute highlight video of Michaels and LeBrons most impressive highlights, and showed both of them to someone who had never watched basketball before, who do you think they would say is better?
I would bet MJ.
After watching Bron drain 25-foot fadeaways last series I’m not exactly sure what he can’t do.Let’s go the eye test route, just for fun.

Fair enough, but Bron is far from done. There is definitely some middle ground in there. Rings aren’t everything but you aren’t giving titles the respect they deserve. The fact that MJ has LBJ doubled up right now is pretty huge in the debate.
LeBron has some blocks MJ couldn’t touchAir Jordan versus possibly the best all around player ever?
Depends on the highlights I guess. Jordan dunks and crazy hangtime is going to look cooler on a video than someone passing the ball for assists, backing players down, and grabbing rebounds.
Yup. What’s nuts is it even feels like he’s still getting betterFair enough, but Bron is far from done.

MJ also has an NCAA championship so that realistically put his count at 7.Again, MJ didn't have to have to play that way. He's the GOAT for a reason. MJ wouldn't allow his team to lose in the finals. It was just for fun. No worries budBy this logic Tracy McGrady > Tim Duncan

He just didn't care about winning before the Finals when he went down 9 times?Again, MJ didn't have to have to play that way. He's the GOAT for a reason. Great.....Lebron now up to 6 with his 3 High School titles.MJ also has an NCAA championship so that realistically put his count at 7.
Next, we'll be counting AAU and Helms titles in this thread.Great.....Lebron now up to 6 with his 3 High School titles.
closing the gap.
Do AAu titles won by his kid(s) count?Next, we'll be counting AAU and Helms titles in this thread.

Bron has a higher FG%, 3Pt%, eFG%, TruFG%, and his PER is 27.7 to MJ's 27.9.Nope
Your words, if titles are the be-all, end-all. MJ lovers praying Bron doesn't join a super team and win a couple more, or there will be nowhere left to hang your hats.Your words, not mine.

No, I never said that. Titles do matter but it's not the deciding factor in determining who is the GOAT. But I did say this second place doesn't count, buzzer beaters would mean more if it happened in the conference finals/ finals. Like I said before LBJ got worked by a Dallas team that wasn't that good and if Ray Allen didn't hit that 3 against the Spurs that would of been another one. I will give him credit, he's ballin out big time and you can't help but to be impressed and if he wins the title with this group of players then there will be more talk about him being the GOAT and rightfully so. Till then he's not unless you count second place and he's got that locked up by a wide margin. He joined a super team in Miami and looked what happened. They should of won the title every year those guys were together.
MJ's most remembered shot was against the Cavs in the FIRST round. So, I guess those matter. And call me crazy, but I think it's better to lose in the Finals than not make it there.
True, but you're not going to get credit just because you made it there.
Can we take away the one MJ won when Paxson hit the winning shot? No, I never said that. Titles do matter but it's not the deciding factor in determining who is the GOAT. Not really seems most in support of Lebron even say it's still MJ, but it's close. Lebron's career not over so he could pass him.But it's also better to win than just get there.
It's almost like this is a subjective topic that can be argued either way, but both sides will fight to the death to prove they are right.
At this point LBJ has what, 8 appearances? MJ had 6. MJ had six victories, LBJ only has 3. Runner Up is definitely better than not making the finals, but just making it there doesn't nearly carry the weight of actually winning. He will need a lot more runner ups in order to make up for the three titles difference. GSW aren't going anywhere.
Greg Ostertag and the old ass Jazz came in second twice. I remember that. WinkingNo one remembers who came in second place but he's done it so many times it will be a question on Jeopardy.
