Jokes on you cause most Christians are weird fvcks and were backing trump either way.
So in a weird twist, there is a gay couple a street down from us. Never talked to them about politics, just yard shit whenever one of them is out when we're walking by. We saw last night where they have a Trump sign in their yard. Will have to see if it stays there or if someone put it there as a joke.
Is it weird you can tell who someone is going to vote for by having an american flag in the yard or on the house?

I’m pretty confident I know who they will vote for.
I had an Uncle Sam ground decoration but it broke. We are going to make one of my those pallet American flags instead.
Living in a conservative neighborhood is pleasant and refreshing.
She has an extensive history in public service and politics. Just because someone is a minority doesn’t make them a political pawn. Not everyone is an old white guy.
I do think in general, you could probably connect the two. But there are quite a few older democrats that still fly old glory.

My main problem with politics is that it seems politicians are more into lining their pockets than what’s best for everyone, or the majority. The entirety of the system is crooked imo but it’s not like I know a way to fix it. You can’t just not pay govt officials bc then it’s only gonna be rich people even more so than it already is.
But it should be a sign that something is terribly wrong when people get into politics to get $$$ as opposed to being civil servants working for the people to better the country.
I also feel like the majority of our nations problems come down to one age old personality trait, greed.
And lastly I feel like the oppression being called out by minorities, is not the oppression of people of color, it’s the oppression of poor people. IMO The system is rigged to keep the rich people rich and the poor people poor, just as much as it’s rigged to oppress people of color. Obv I know it’s not impossible to break the cycle, but it is a cycle none the less.
Now granted slavery has a helluva lot to do with the economic status of people of color, even today how many ever years later. Simply bc before it was abolished people of color weren’t allowed to own anything. So every store, every acre of land, every everything was owned by white people. Add in a few generations of nepotism and You get white privilege.
That’s about as deep into politics as I go

She is also a smart, vastly accomplished lawyer with experience at the highest levels of state and federal government in one of the largest economies in the world and who is as qualified as many candidates for Vice President before her.

I don't think anyone is denying that candidates are picked because of their appeal to voters. They also have to be qualified though. People in this thread are pretending that she's only qualified because she's a black woman. That's just mind-numbingly dumb.
