I kinda stand in this general area. Although I hope Biden doesn’t get the vote, I just can’t believe these are our choices. Even though I like a lot of the things trump has brought—I just think we have far better leaders out there. I’ve said it a million times before, Mike Rowe would trounce these two.

No, for real! A number of the Trump voters here have straight up said they don’t like the guy, and if they had to pick between him and, say, Pence or Rubio or whomever, I think some of them would pick a different Republican. Maybe not Romney, but most other Republicans.

But at this point, we’ve seen the craziness. We can sort of measure it, account for it. And when I look at 2016 and what happened, and what has happened in the time between then and now, and at how things are looking... I think I’m more confident now.

Half of this country has absolutely lost sight of what socialism is and is not.
I absolutely think his economic plan borders socialism. Hell, Trump with the CaresAct, PPP loans, to small business, bail out of large corporations, Federal Reserve purchase of corporate bonds...Feds bailing out banks/stock market by putting trillions of new dollars to them---All leaps toward a "Type 2 socialism". Dangerous...But not as dangerous as basing an entire economy on this structure.
Biden's economic plan is just that. Its a facade. Its simple....
The more “public investment” the tech industry gets, the more government bureaucrats will hold sway over tech “entrepreneurs,” until eventually the tech industry is effectively nationalized.
The more that small businesses are “supported” by the government, the more they will be subjugated to the state.
