Poll: So... who wins the Presidential election?

Who wins?

First off... when did Harris call Biden a racist? Did I miss that? And be careful... it is a popular meme shared by a Trump, but it might not be TRUE... ;) I suggest looking things up yourself, and if they sound unlikely (and yes, it is unlikely many Democrats would straight up call Joe Biden a racist)... you might find it isn’t actually true. Go ahead, look it up, tell me what you find. Maybe you are right and I am wrong,

Second... while we are talking about politicians saying something unflattering about someone they work with... and the terrible thing Harris said was that she believed the women who said that Biden kissing them on the head or whatever made them uncomfortable (and I agree with her, and even BIDEN said he believed it made them uncomfortable and would change his ways), I don't think that's QUITE as bad as this...

Your point might be based on a mix of something that isn’t true and something that Republicans have done to a jaw dropping extent... funny, too, how everything I’ve said here, actual Republicans said the exact same thing before Trump took over the party and their votes depended on him.
Not sure I have ever meant someone who can contort the truth, to meet their agenda, quite aw well as you do....Kudos to that.

On Harris calling Biden a racist----No she didn't come and say as much---But she might as well have. Sure she started the exchange with---"I do not believe you are a racist........." But that is eqivalent to my wife telling me, "I'm not upset", then proceed to tell me all the things she's upset about...In other words after saying "I do not think you are a racist". Harris proceeded to chastise him for???? Yeah, acting like a racist, ie. Opposing busing and lauding the careers of two senators that she felt had bulit their career's on condoning segregation...

So did she actually call him a racist? Nope. But her words that followed sure the hell insinuated that is what she thought.

As for her saying she believed the women....? C'mon dude. Inappropriate touching---kissing, etc, etc? Why brush that off? Why, n/c its not as bad as sexual assault, or rape? Which of course, its not---but its still an act of demeaning...At least that is how those women saw it---Otherwise, why speak out?

Biden from what I have read, has never siad HE BELIEVES it was inapropriate...

On April 3, 2019, Biden released a video on Twitter in which he acknowledged that his characteristic habit of making unsolicited physical contact with others, including strangers — something he called “gestures of support and encouragement” — had made some women and men “uncomfortable,” over the years, adding that:

“The boundaries of protecting personal space have been reset, and I get it… I’ll always believe governing, quite frankly, life for that matter, is about connecting…with people. That won’t change, but I will be more mindful and respectful of people’s personal space.”

Thats not admitting you belive your actions made others uncomfortable....That is YOU admitting others have said it made them uncomfortable...

Amazing....Anything put out opposite of what democrats say, to you, is always a false narrative...Amazing....Because, well also---everything said opposite of a republican can be explained...

Weird...

The election polls and the Rivals basketball board poll seem to be very different. We’ll see who is correct.

People honestly can’t separate “think” and “want” with this election. Ha. Because we all know this board leans right.
Yeah, if we're being honest none of us have any idea what's going to happen.

A poll on a college football/basketball board it about as meaningful as the fake polls the mainstream is throwing in everyone's face

We won't truly know the answer until the election.

I haven’t even heard of 90% of the voters in this poll.

Sooo... she said “I don’t think you are a racist” to Biden, but what that really *meant* was she thinks The OPPOSITE, that he IS a racist.

Oh, and *I* contort the truth to fit my agenda.

Oooookay.

Not quite.

First, one point: people DONT give credit to Trump when he has disowned them. And he has.

The issue is how Trump couches those statements, how he hems and haws with them, how hard he has to be pressed to say them, how he is always putting some sort of qualifiers on them, how he is always looking to soften it with whataboutisms, how his own actions and words and campaigning seem to undermine his statements... and the best evidence is that those people themselves seem to get that, as they say ”Well, Donald is just saying what he has to say, we know what he means!” and vote for him anyway. There is a reason Rick Santorum talked about Donald Trumps not easily condemning white supremacists because he doesnt want to say something bad about people who support him;)

Is Biden an old white guy who probably has said or thought something racist at some point? Sure... as I’ve said, over and over and over, everyone is a bit racist. You. Me. Everyone. It’s pretty natural, even if we should fight it. But not many reasonable people really think that Joe Biden is some big racist. The vast majority of his supporters certainly wouldn’t support him if they thought he was, minorities in particular wouldn’t, and he wouldn’t be the Democratic nominee for President.

Probably not worth going over yet again, because people will insist there are no such things as dog whistles and subtle meaning, and insist “Well, candidate A is exactly the same as Candidate B!” with no apparent ability to understand otherwise.

Anyway, if you want to take Bordens side, that Harris explicitly saying that Biden isn’t a racist is actually her saying he IS a racist, and then saying that *I* twist the truth to fit my narrative, with no apparent understanding of how silly that sounds... well, go ahead ;)

Btw, since I doubt this is a Broadway crowd... if you dont know the show Avenue Q, you’ve missed some good ones... this is the second best song in the show, behind “The Internet is for Porn.”

“I don’t think you are a racist, but.....”

Sounds like someone who wants to attack Biden on race but doesn’t want to take the risk.

How about believing his sexual assault accuser then?

I won’t die on that hill, but I almost always think of “Is my side doing the very same thing as I am condemning the opposition for?” I’m all for accountability for both sides...it just doesn’t exist. You could go back and forth all day. That’s why I think you have to vote on policy. Not SJ issues, not skin color, not party lines. Vote on the 3-4 things that actually will affect your day to day lives. Economy/Taxes/Healthcare/National Security.

Can we quit pretending that it is Trump vs Biden? Anyone who is being completely honest with themselves and others knows that this is Trump vs Kamala.

Bingo, this guy gets it. Politics should be all about policy and as we all know, the dem policies suck ass.

I don't love Trump but I'll take his policies all day over another step towards socialism.

You do, but that hardly makes you special. Everyone does to an extent. We all act like lawyers to our original inclinations. We’re all so good at it that we don’t even realize we’re doing it.

Her approach was to go at him during the democratic debates because she thought it was her best route to the presidency. When asked about it later her response was “it was a debate” while laughing (I think it was to Colbert).

Imagine thinking it’s Trump vs Kamala lol. So many straws to grasp at.

So is the takeaway that it’s no big deal to flub the truth on sexual assault?

It makes her faux outrage towards Kavanaugh even more pathetic.

She obviously didn't call him racist, but its like the classic "no offense" type of statement. You know, where you say no offense, but say something offensive/insulting/negative.

It would be like a guy telling his wife, "Honey, I'm not saying you are fat, but you weigh 350lbs, you can't fit through the door anymore, and you were suppose to share that KFC bucket of chicken."

Joe, I'm not saying you are racist, but you have written racist legislation, been friends with racists, etc... She was very smart to frame it this way. A lot of people came away with the belief she thought he was racist, even though she said he wasn't. I think that was her intentions also.

Biden himself called it the Harris Biden Campaign. I think everyone knows the end game with this.

It was my liberal friend who convinced me of it when he agreed that Biden sucks but that he doesn’t expect Biden to finish the term.

It's no big dead as long as it's their party, if it were the other way around it would be a massive story.

Well,I mean she did follow up with----well proceeding to outline him as being racist, i.e. busing/lauding senators she felt made their careers on promoting segregation.....No?

Its funny, brother. You guys can dissect statements to git your narrative...But when its thrown back at you---well, thats just being silly...

Whatever, bub. You are so stuck in the mud with your views...You refuse to see the downfalls of your own party. Sad TBH....

Do you think Trump is racist?

Do you think Trump is racist?

Yep.

Between his multiple lawsuits for racist renting policies to his comments about blacks not handling his money because only Jews should... from his continued attacks on the Central Park Five to his “they aren’t sending their best” comment... from his “low IQ“ attacks on black politicians to his “Corey Booker is leading an army of the poors to take away your houses” appeal... from “They don’t look like Indians to me” to calling for American politicians of color to go back where they come from... from his “shithole country/Norway“ comments to his embracing of racists like Bannon, Stone, and Arpaio... from his calls for a ban on Muslims entering the country to his years-long, fact bending attempts to paint the first black President as not even being American... and all of that just off the top of my head... Yeah, I think he is. I mean, I suppose you could argue he just panders to racists, but I yeah, I think the guy is racist.

But seriously, what’s the point?

Sure.

And given the crushing debt Trump has mired us in, given the alienation of every ally on earth and the national security warnings shouted by guys like McRaven and Mattis and Hayden, given that Trump is trying to strip down health care without offering any alternatives, given that Trump has repeatedly attacked our intelligence agencies which keep us safe both at home and abroad and our generals who do the same, given that Trump has put completely incompetent and inexperienced people in charge of education, given that Trump has made a mess of our federal response to a pandemic that has infected and even killed so many people I know and which might yet get my mom, given that Trump has dismantled many environmental protections that I think we need to keep the Earth a viable place to live... yep. Thats what I am voting on: policy.

AND that the guy is a disaster.

I’m going to be honest, and this doesn’t apply to any specific person, the more people talk about Trump and act like he’s ruining their lives, the more I can’t wait to vote for him. I would never act like such a baby if I didn’t get my way with who was president. Trump Train 2020

People voting against their own interest surely has been a testament to Kentucky’s lack of education.

If you agree with liberal policy than that’s exactly how you should vote. I want better policies from the trump admin but I struggle to find many I think are the best for our country from the liberal side.
