Where did I say it was a mistake? Tubby is a much better game day coach than cal is. Really not a debate. Cal is just flashier and wins on signing day and draft day.

2. cal and UK have not a been as good the last 5 years they were his first part of his tenure at UK. This is 100 percent a fact.

Those 5 stars are freshman, the "GOAT" (AKA Coach K) isn't doing any better with freshmen and he's getting the elite of the elite freshmen, so that proves it's incredibly hard to win with freshmen.

My question to you is, why isn't your coach winning titles with 3 and 4 year players that he recruited and trained? Cal gets his players for less than a year, Bruce has his for for and has zero titles. I'd be embarrassed.

Good lord, you truly do come off like a red-headed stepchild demanding respect that you haven't earned. Bammer football posters have had a strong effect on you. Tubby was losing out on a lot of recruits, losing 10 or more games on an annual basis, and wasn't going very far the NCAAT. Even Tubby knew it was time to leave.... he had an agent find his next job in Minnesota in December of his final season at UK. There's things called 'Standards' that UK has for basketball achievements that you clearly don't understand.
