Some of these UK fans think they are somehow superior people because the CBB team they root for won at a high level years ago. UK is better than ut, no matter how much you cling to your 11-10 Barnes era. Past and present, UK still sits on a pedestal that ut does not. Since you're all about the 'here and now', ut is 0-1 vs UK this year as well.

Adolph Rupp won 876 games and built Kentucky into a college hoops colossus. When he retired in 1972, he'd won four national titles and had UK as the No. 2 program in the sport behind UCLA. Joe B. Hall took over, won a title in '78 and got to 297 wins. Eddie Sutton had success that was tarnished by rule-breaking, and so in swooped Rick Pitino to provide college basketball with its most entertaining team of the 1990s. The 1995-96 Kentucky team that went 34-2 and won the title is on the Mount Rushmore of greatest teams in history and is probably the best non-undefeated team to ever win it all.
Tubby Smith took over after Pitino left for the NBA, won a championship with Pitino's players in '98, and kept Kentucky atop the sport for most of his time. And now we have Calipari. Sans college basketball the UK athletic department accomplishments are pretty non existent
I mean you asked me this 5 years ago and I am still here. The SEC in basketball has changed man. You are seeing schools with lots more money out mor resources than ever in basketball. Kentucky will still win but it’s harder now than you have ever experienced
