Way too early predictions for standings

1. UM
2. Purdue
3. Maryland
4. OSU
5. Indiana
6. MSU
7. Illinois (no Kofi)
8. Iowa
9. Rutgers
10. Wisconsin
11. Northwestern
12. Minnesota
13. Nebraska
14. Penn State

2-4 was the hardest area to rank IMO.

We won’t finish 10th or behind Iowa.

I think it’s clear the Big Ten is going to take a huge step back next year.

1. UM
2. OSU
3. Purdue
4. Maryland (significant drop if they don’t return all 3)
5. Indiana
6. MSU
7. Illinois (no Kofi)
8. Rutgers
9. Wisconsin
10. Iowa
11. Northwestern
12. Minnesota
13. Nebraska
14. Penn St

Think it’s still too early to tell. If Liddell and Washington return I’d think they’d be higher than four. If one returns then somehwere in the middle and if both leave then 🤷‍♂️

It’s definitely tough, I think the Big Ten has 4 legit top 10 teams next year but not nearly the depth of years past. You, Maryland, and Purdue to me are interchangeable

It’s not your guys class or our 2016 class, but yeah, I like everyone we’re bringing in and they should all get minutes right away.

If this class is a disappointing it will be really bad news for this season for us, we’re going to need some minutes out of all of them, especially Christie/Brooks. We’re super thin on the wing.
nah, but you can win big with a class like that in 2-3 years. 5 star heavy classes rarely have the impact that people imagine

I guess I’m just not that familiar with your roster after most of the seniors are gone. Do you guys feel good about the new guys?
I’m excited to see what they can do. As with any freshman it’s a crapshoot. With Bruce back anything is possible. I’d be disappointed with 10th.

Sounds like Rocket to DePaul. They were the highest level program that offered him the kind of role he and his camp thinks he deserves. It could go well, but DePaul is a pretty garbage right now.

However, he has been working a lot harder since this season ended. There was sentiment around the program that during the first shutdown he really didn’t work on his game and body to the level of some other guys. Seems like that’s changed. I wish him the best. I’m just not sure DePaul is a great choice.

Who’s your center?

DePaul NEVER works out. It’s baffling recruits still fall for this trap after all these losing seasons

Crowl/Carlson/Vogt will be the big man rotation. Might see one or two out there at a time. The exciting part is no one knows right now. There’s not exactly a bunch of returning experience outside of like 3 guys. We’ll likely play a lot of 3 guard lineup I’d imagine, if you consider Davis a guard.

1 - Hepburn, Bowman, Neath
2 - Bruce, Jordan Davis
3 - Johnny Davis, Ilver (likely redshirt)
4 - Wahl, Carlson, Mors
5 - Crowl, Vogt, Hodges (likely redshirt)

None of them are really pigeonholed into a spot outside of Vogt and maybe Crowl as always the 5. The rest are very interchangeable. Which is what Gard has been trying to do the last few years.

Oh give me a ****ing break. We don't even have enough players to scrimmage 5 on 5 yet. Haven't talked one ounce of shit since basically our whole roster transferred.

Is Sparty going to have a point guard next season?

We got a transfer PG from Northeastern and have a top 50 recruit coming in. I’m not sure we’ll be elite there, but anything has to be better than last year.
