yeah but Purdue is a offensive machine that shoots like this in every game,

Iowa plays no D, that is why pu scores at will. ELEVEN 3s made and Iowa still won't guard the 3. When will Fran learn? Iowa needs to make a change now, before Fran ruins the future improvement of these frosh and sophs.

Iowa is 2-12 from 3. which would lead me to believe that pu is playing pretty good D on them. But, in Iowa's defense, that is about what I would expect them to shoot unguarded. This is an incredibly bad Iowa team, made up of plowhorses that can't run if they have a broken finger. Woodbury gave Garza some cheapshot lessons this week, but it still didn't help. 51-17 and Fran is still daring them to shoot the 3!

Crean recruited him as well. That Mississippi State team fell apart. Heard Newman and another kid IU recruited.

What you have to compare Purdue’s shooting % against is practice shooting % not the percentage that they shoot in other games. Normally the opponent plays defense so the shot are slightly challenged, against Iowa not so much.

todays game could get interesting as today is the 25th Anniversary of Chris Street death.
Former Coach Tom Davis is there and met with the current players for practice,
Streets former teammates are expected to be there.
they are going to present a plaque honoring Street who was killed the night before the game with MSU.
Iowa went in as a big underdog and won.

Iowa is no stranger to playing a top 5 ranked Purdue team as in Fran's 1st season when Iowa went 4-14 Iowa beat then ranked #4 Purdue keeping that team from winning the BT Championship.

Fran is 7-5 vs Purdue and winner of 3 of the last 4 including a sweep of Purdue when 5* Swanigan was playing.

todays game will be interesting to watch. will Iowa win or will Purdue win considering the history of Iowa under Fran.
