6th Annual College Basketball Draft

No idea how good his team will be, but feel like this guy is going to score 15+ ppg. Might even be a threat to lead the league in scoring...

If we drop three players in the future, and we're about to end our draft early...

Why not do something like a couple more rounds of players to be used later. Maybe free agents? We can drop and add up until the deadline. Is that not feasible or just too much?

If others are interested, maybe. But, feel like this draft is centered on projecting who you think will have great seasons. Picking up players during the season is more just noticing what's obvious. But if enough people are interested in doing that, I would be fine with that. Maybe limit it to 1 add/drop per week.

no, the allure of this league is that we don't have to do anything once the draft is over. Sure, we have to drop a player mid season, but that takes all of 2 minutes to figure out.

Start adding in weekly add/drops and this league suddenly looks a lot like regular fantasy sports. Having to stay on top of things and do stuff weelky is one of the reasons I quit all fantasy sports about 5 years ago.

I might be a year too early on this guy, but I really like his game, and he could have a breakout year. Either way, I’m good taking a chance on him this late.

Zakai Ziegler, UT.

@duckboy33, you’re next.

Yeah, I would agree with this sentiment. Don't want it to resemble fantasy sports. This is about who can assemble the best team before the season starts.

Tennessee is a really, really good team. No idea how the scoring distribution is going to be. But, Feel like the Vols are a legit top 10 team and should be a threat to have 2 1st Team All-Conference players or possibly even 2 HM All-Americans. Vescovi, JJJ, Phillips, Ziegler, Key, Nkamhoua. Kind of similar how I feel about Creighton. Lots of good players, and more than likely Vescovi will be the safest pick (similar to Kalkbrenner and Creighton). But, wouldn't be surprised if someone else on the team breaks out and is slightly more impactful.

Agree with everything here. His defense put him over for me. Don’t know if he’ll have a chance at DPOY, but I think he can get some all conference honors if they have the type of season I think they will.

Also gives me a rooting interest and reason to watch.

When we play, all Im going to hear is Zig Ziglar.

Hah never thought of that. Now that's what I'll be thinking of, too.

He's got some pretty good lines, though.

Little bit left field (this is my cue to get flooded with notifications that he’s already been picked and I missed it)

took me all these years to finally come up with a winning strategy. I call it WWDDD or What Would @dukedevilz Do. Been following it to a tee all draft.
I tried to come up with a plan to take him down in the pick 'em last year, and the guy still won. I came in second.

House always win I guess.

I wanted to go 2 Pac 12 guys with my last picks because I was heavy on other conferences. And he was one of the 4 guys I narrowed in on. Def has a high ceiling.

My friends tell me he’s looked as good as he’s ever been. His career at Oregon has been full of injuries but he’s got a lot of potential and I’m hoping we get to see that unleashed this year

For my final pick I’m going back to the Homer well.

Leaky Black

If healthy I can’t imagine him not getting all defensive team. I think he could get CDPOY.

He won’t put eye-popping stats up so win shares may be a bit low, but it’s the 12th pick. Theoretically anyone this low is going to be in danger of the cutting room floor when we have to go to 9 anyway.

too bad you didn't also draft Gradey Dick cause then you could've had @lurkeraspect84 's favorite porn search on your team in Leaky Black Gradey Dick.

I thought for sure you'd take Caleb Mills with one of your last two picks. Pac-12 guys make sense, though, sense they're rarely taken.

Homer decisions don’t always go well, and I have no clue how fsu is going to respond (as individual players and with lineups) now that Baba is in NCAA jail for half the season.
