She’s paid staff on THI. But yes, all of CBB today is because of UNC and Dean Smith came from Kansas, so KU gets a nod.

James Naismith (founder of basketball) coached Phog Allen at Kansas

Allen (Kansas coaching legend) coached Dean Smith at Kansas.

Smith (UNC coaching legend) coached Roy Williams as a player and assistant at UNC

Williams (UNC alum coached at Kansas and UNC) had on staff current UNC Coach Hubert Davis.

Davis played for Smith and was assistant for Williams.

No mention of Kentucky because in this podcast, it was to show how intertwined these two bluebloods are.

Also Bob Fredricks who hired Roy Williams at Kansas, son Brad played at UNC and was on the staffs of Williams and Davis.

No two programs can say this except the Jayhawks and Tar Heels.

Hubert Davis is fifth generation from the origins of basketball. It’s a unique story!
