UNC @ Duke

That was an odd TO by K. Everything is in their favor right now.

Hell of a comeback!

Congrats to senior Grayson Allen of Jacksonville, Florida and member of the ACC All-Academic team. Shine on!

Over.

On to March Madness
Exactly.

Didn't watch the game but looking at the box score it reads like a game we lose. When Berry is bad we tend to be bad. Good win, Dukies. Enjoy this week and next weekend. Our tourney starts after that.

Good game, UNC. Game of 2 different halves. UNC wanted it more in the first and Bagley played disinterested. Duke played harder, especially Bagley, in the second half and Berry and May played hesitant. Both teams should make some noise in the tournament.

At this point, the only people who think this has been a fair whistle are Duke fans and Borden.
I didn't watch. But man I got to ask. And NOT just you. But the word "fair" just gets me. I had a lady walk up to me the other day(at the grocery store) and says---"Don't you ref basketball"? Yes. Yes I do. She replies---"I thought you did. You do a nice job. What I like about you is you're fair".

There's that word again: "Fair". I mean its a nice compliment. But it's also a sign of how people feel about officials. In any sport. I mean, do some of you honestly think officials really care who wins? I mean sure maybe there a few. Maybe. But for the most part, I cannot think of any official that cares who wins or loses a game. An unbalanced whistle happens. Home teams get calls. It happens. But it is more of a product of missing calls, bad officiating, etc, etc...opposed to being "unfair". Again, there are probably officials who don't like coaches...Have "agenda's" so to speak. But that is far few and in between.

Think about it. You honetly think the guys working the game today decided they weren't going to call the game "fairly"? And before you answer, just think of this: Look at some of the FT/ foul discrepancies UNC has enjoyed(at home). I mean in those games, were the officials not fair?

If anyone says the refs gave this game to Duke they're ****ing high. Duke played like absolute shit in the first half then adapted and took full advantage of Luke Maye. Good game UNC.

Can not one single game go by without someone blaming the refs? Seriously, shit is so played out. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. The refs do NOT determine the outcome of the game. There’s no conspiracy. There’s no collusion. There’s a man doing his job. Sometimes they make a mistake (you ever made one at your job?), but most times they get it right.

Blaming the refs is such a pussy thing to do. Just congratulate the other team and move on. It’s basketball, not surgery.

Should have probably used the word "even", but I was really just screwing around in a game thread while drinking. The refs had absolutely nothing to do with the outcome of this game,

My poast was intended as a joke because, well, you very, very frequently defend officials.

What is up with Duke basketball releasing a list of people who attend their games? I know some of them weren't even pulling for Duke. Is that not kind of weird? Nothing wrong with it, just seems an odd thing to do.

That picture of Duke and that Chainz guy looks about as normal as the one of Roy and Kendrick Lamar.

Roy and K seem like genuine friends fron the little Ive seen. Every interview Ive heard from K he seems to really talk about Roy glowingly.
Fairly sure they have a solid friendship. They just hate losing to each other.

Yeah, I don’t think they really have a contentious relationship or anything. We leave that stuff to us fans.
