That's easy, once you win your Elite 8 game, you have almost a week to celebrate, then you focus on the next step, but either way, you won your bracket and that is a banner accomplishment.
losing in the FF doesn’t take that way. You still got to the FF.
In the FF, all it takes is a bad call, or a ball rolling off the rim to make the difference between winning it all and losing against another great team.
So you're not celebrating a loss, you're celebrating winning.
What if you only lose by a point? You keep saying "ass kicked", but losing by a point in a FF game is not "getting your ass kicked".
You will also go to sleep with the knowledge that UT can beat Iowa at anything.

The pollsters love them for some reason. They are a good defensive team but their offense can be pretty bad.
When Tennessee handled KU, I thought they might be the best team in the country. Turns out they just got really hot from three for a day.
