Della, I hope that Barnes gets you some final fours and/or a national title. Not sure why he can't win a little more consistently in the tourney. He had some insanely talented Texas teams and only one FF to show for it.

And this is where you make yourself look foolish. Maybe you just have a hard time understanding simple things I don’t know or maybe UT fans are just backwards but nobody celebrates losing a game. Again, I understand you’ve never been to a final four but teams and fans don’t get together 20 years later to celebrate and say “cheers to us losing in the final four”, they celebrate making a final four. Maybe someday you’ll get that experience sissy!

You look foolish by not being able to show any error on my part. If you celebrate a FF, you are celebrating getting your ass beat. You are celebrating a participation award.

I've heard a lot of people talk about reaching the final four. In fact, analysts/fans/coaches talk about it all year long as a primary goal. But I have yet to hear anyone state that their goal is to lose in the final four. I also don't remember anyone celebrating after a loss in the final four. Maybe you have some examples?
Next time you're at TBA, look up in the rafters. You'll see banners up there. Although 99% of them are for the womens team achievements, they're still achievements... you'll see banners there celebrating getting to the Final Four in the womens tournament. Fans of that program are proud of the # of Final 4's they have too. I doubt you'd downplay those banners to them. You getting the picture yet?
I just think that the last 4 in is nothing but a step on the way to the Title, but on it's own it's nothing. What if the marketing folk had named it Fantastic 4, Elegant 8, or Sassy Sixteen. I suppose a lot of you would be going on about that. 😆
Do you somehow think I can't read your text without you highlighting arbitrary words? I have made it clear that my opinions are my own. I don't celebrate losses and if you get knocked out in the FF you lost.

How 'bout if they named it Regional Champions?
Which accomplishments do you think are more prestigious in CBB than being regional champs, aside from winning it all?
So do you acknowledge that your opinion is different than that of 99% of people who follow or play/coach the sport?
Do you think UT should take all the banners down except for the women's national titles?
Got almost 50 of those and they still fall below the Final 4's as far as degree of importance goes.
I think most people are like Lemmings. I think it is funny when believe what they are told to believe, but then they can't defend what and why they believe something.
I only care what I believe, but I'm open to be persuaded if someone can make a reasonably good argument showing the faultiness of my position.
As a KU fan, I'd be okay with that. But very few people will agree.
Especially if the conference isn't great.
It equates to winning their region of the tournament. Universities commemorate getting to that level in the tournament.... even ut. You can try to downgrade it all you want, but I don't see anyone joining your side of this ridiculous argument.
Then you and I can agree. A Conference Champion was their conference Champion. It's in the name.
I think it's been laid out pretty well. You're celebrating winning your region. The NCAA put you in a region, and you're the champion of that region. What else needs to be said?
Why celebrate winning your league? One could argue that's lemming behavior too. What if the league isn't any good? "Woo-hoooo, we finished with a better record than a bunch of also-rans! Pop the champagne!"

It's not like I called you in here and I'm not attacking UK, so you need to look to yourself on why you are here and not me.
I just have a hard time celebrating getting my ass kicked. If you don't win the title you got beat. I have stated if someone wants to celebrate getting their ass beat, I'm fine with that.
