And to continue what DD was saying...........There is no way that Nebraska, at 20-8, 11-4, shouldn't be in. Cite lack of Top 25 or 50 wins. Ok. Call the conference down. OK; Though we do have three teams in the Top 8. But anyways....All fair points. SO explain me this, Joe.
How is St. Mary's a 6 seed? Is the WCC better than the Big 10? Is it an "up year" in that conference? Has to be,. After all, St. Mary's resume is really no better than Nebraska's. yet they(Gaels) are a 6 seed. And NB cannot even sniff the First Four?

Here's the kicker----St. Mary's OOC SOS is much better than Nebraska's(216-292). So that tells you what conference is better.

Tell Nebraska to play a better schedule. Having three teams in the top 8 means nothing when they have done nothing but beat up on the bottom of the conference that is historically bad.

Funniest thing I've seen all week
Fran only gets paid around 2.2 million per year which is only middle of the pack. if Iowa does not make the NCAAT this year he will get less than 2 million, he only gets the max as long as reaches certain goals.
its called incentives. reach this and you get paid this and so on, the same as KF the total he can make a year is 4 million but if he does not meet the incentives his salary goes down.
then there are the bonuses for winning the West Division and another bonus for winning the BT Championship.
these coaches have the incentive in the form of the money they make to win not lose. this season Frans salary is getting smaller.
they don't have a .500 season or better that means he makes less than that 2.2 million contract.
even KF part of the contract is based on winning a minimum of 8 games each season. 7 or less and the amount drops.
Barta gets dumped on but to me getting incentives that reaching goals which include winning was a very good and smart move.
so that 4 million for KF and 2.2 million are just arbitrary numbers. that is that the fans see and nothing more.
Yea I’m not readin all that. His yearly salary means shit its all about the buyout.
