He's got a little of Carsen Edwards' fearlessness. TBD on whether that's a good thing or not. But he seems like a plus defender and ballhandler.

Looks like he could be another unranked guy that people go "Where dafuq did Painter find him?" but it's too early to be sure.

I hope we don’t redshirt Burgess. I think he could help us this year.

Yeah, I wish basketball was like football. In Football, you can play 4 games (about 30% of the season) and still preserve a redshirt.

In basketball, if you play one regular season game, you burn a year of eligibility? I know they are considering a change to allow you to play 33% of the games. I wish they'd employ that. Then we could see Burgess thru December and make a decision then.

For how bad our football team is, it’s wild how well our fans still show up. We deserve a better product on the field.

Well, we learned today that MSU is yet another cupcake.
Dominating win is impressive but they have lost 5 of 6, right?

And next, you get a Michigan team that has lost 3 of 4 with the only win over the aforementioned MSU team.

The schedule is breaking perfectly for an historic 11-1 season. Impressive.

It just literally gets said every week. "They haven't played anyone, next week we should know more". Been like that since UCLA, Maryland, Nebraska, Washington, msu and now Michigan. Then after we kill them it's rinse and repeat. They will get it even after the OSU game.

MSU jumps out to 10-0 lead.

"See...we told you that IU is a fraud and will be exposed by a decent team"

47 unanswered IU points later

"See we told you MSU was just another cupcake"

The butthurt is real...and delicious.

I love how you are so desperate to generate an us against the world mentality. I didn't even how who IU was playing and saw the score last night.

Schedule is what it is. Didn't see any sympathy when IU was playing UM, OSU, PSU and MSU every year.

And it's been weak...But it's not like IU is squeaking by teams. 56-7 NEB..who OSU struggle to beat in Columbus. Wash 31-17 without starting QB. Then go on the road..fall behind 10-0. Then drop 47 straight.

Slice it how ya like..this is a really good team. And wouldn't shock me if they go to OSU and win.

Yep. Exactly what I said. Thanks for not being a snowflake like your fellow IU fan on this board.

No, what you tried to do in your sobbing post (but failed) was to put some huge asterisk on IU's success and especially the late season.

Your sobbing claims that IU is catching teams at the right time is preposterous:

MSU was at home reeling from a loss to their rival and desperately needing a W to have a chance at a bowl.

Michigan is desperate for a W to secure a bowl and they have a likely L coming with Ahia.

Ahia cannot drop a second game or they are out of the BTCG and in a risky position for one of the 12 spots. Especially considering thei rivalry matchup is coming vs a desperate UM.

Purdue can (morally) sugar coat a shitty season and save their coach with a W against IU.

Here is what objective looks like...I think IU could lose two and be out ofboth the BTCG and the 12.

While we understand why you need to say that IU's schedule is "breaking perfectly"...it lacks even a shred of objectivity and exposed your bitterness and lack of FB knowledge. Your fellow Puketrolls are doing the same, hell... @Boilermaker03 is melting down again on the IU home board.

Relax Ace, it will be fine.

Ahia win would be a shock to me. They cannot take another loss and be in the BTCG and their playoff seeding would be affected significantly assuming they remain among the 12. And they know they have Mich coming who may need a W to get a bowl.

The schedule has been favorable so far and this was always going to be the toughest stretch, but the late season circustances have made the schedule a lot tougher despite the nonsense our sobbing little bros are posting.

I think IU is better than OSU. If game was at Bloomington, I'd expect to win.

Fact is IU has played pretty much all shitty teams so far.

Another fact is that IU has demolished pretty much all of those shitty teams.

They play another crappy team this week in Michigan.

At the end of the day it all comes down to the visit to OSU. If they beat OSU they're legit. If they lose a close game to OSU they're legit. If they get smoked by OSU then I wouldn't expect too much noise out of them the rest of the year.

Should be a caveat that IUs doesn't include sign stealing.
We play Mich at a bad time they have Ahia out there but badly need a W to go bowling.

Then we play Ahia at ans even worse time.

I think IU is better than UM but timing means a lot.

I have been an IU fan for too long to have thoughts like this.

We are getting them at a bad time.
When was playing OSU, eber a good time?

We may lose to.Mich and OSU. I dunno. But this is a pretty damn good.team.

Mof, if.we lose Sat, I'd be shocked

Never good time to play Ahia, but we don't usually get them when they are desperate. That said, IU is a very solid team and you never know. IU is a better team than UM IMO, but again timing is not favorable. The bucket game can't be overlooked, the PUkes can save their season, their self esteem and their Coach's job with an upset.

You just can't help yourself from lying about people can you. If you were to say I made some comments there, then you'd be correct, but you have to say I'm melting down. The only one melting down there and here is you because you're too soft to handle a differing opinion.

I think they are and are capable of wining but we will see. As long as we get through this week healthy and a win I'll be happy. Should be a fun game against OSU.
I'm personally planning to record/watch that game. To me it's the most intriguing game left on the B10 season.

Zero chance this Purdue team beats this IU team. Zero. This will probably be the biggest defeat by an IU team ever. Our weaknesses are their strengths. Then we have inept coaching. Won't be close.

Walters is gone. Even if by some miracle he beat IU he’d still be gone. Writing has been on the wall.

Relax Sparky the season will be over soon and as you say you will be recording the IU/Ahia game with the hopes of rebuilding your self esteem with an IU loss.

In the meantime see you on the IU home board. We have more tissues.

I actually heard this past weekend that the administration found out Walters is sleeping with someone on staff and they will use it to get out of his contract. Don't know if true, but would be best case scenario if it is.
