This is why it's so dumb for these "official" projections to come out so early. If MSU wins out and the B1G tournament (which isn't even a stretch) we are likely a 1 seed.
Well yeah all that I agree with but you have to admit this 30 min show where they flash a bracket and discuss matchups is ****ing awesome for college basketball fans.
Yes? I don’t anticipate this being the final seeding when it’s all said and done. I don’t think Purdue should be a 1 seed over MSU. That whole thing was pretty bad. Their hot take doesn’t change how I feel. But I’m glad you’re so stoked about being labeled a 1 seed prior to Selection Sunday. Think you’ll hang a banner for this???
Weak response. Dude, if you haven’t figured it out yet, I’m not an over the top homer like some. I can look at wins and losses (and resumes) objectively.
My post had nothing to do with where I think Purdue (or anyone) will end up on Selection Sunday so you are deflecting there.
The only vindication I feel is the clear evidence that either:
- You are much more biased than I, or
- I understand seeding much better than you
If UVA and MSU are in the same bracket, I will be pissed. Change it up, do something. People like new matchups, not the same thing over and over again
If these were the Sweet 16 matchups who do you guys think would make the Final 4?

No. Projections coming out right now give us a glimpse of what the committee is looking for in seeding teams.
It is clear now that resume is pushing the seed moreso than perception especially in the case of a school such as Michigan State. This was unknown to the common fan an hour ago.
Nothing dumb about what we just saw....
Like I said bub @SNU0821, resumes matter. Purdue losing twice to good opponents on the last possession isn’t going to hurt them much. Their overall body of work is better than MSU’s. Period. Pipe down on this topic since you clearly demonstrate no objectivity whatsoever when it comes to talking about Purdue.

If that west region stays the same, I know longshot, Purdue would have to go through Zona which would mean Zona doesn’t make the final four.
