I will say... good for Coach Holtmann. Whatever it is, he’s making sure OSU basketball is different than it was the last few years when the kids did what they wanted and worked when they wanted. Kam seemed to buy into the new system and work ethic. Early this year Holtmann suspended Kaleb Wesson indefinitely, 3 games, and it seemed to work wonders for the freshman. Cam is a senior so who knows.
Brad Davison might register a negative on the basketball IQ scale. Just drove for a layup down 3 and got his shot blocked with ONE SECOND left. Even if he makes it Maryland is assured a victory.

Tend to agree, but I like Nova due to Brunson. I dont think there's a player in college bball I'd take over him this season, and he's been there before albeit as a role player.
Was just going to say this. Brunson is so underrated. Doesn't get enough pub.
Agreed. He’s just so steady and can do so many things. Watching him post up guys is pretty impressive. Saw him do it several times today.
His offensive skillset is insanely advanced where he can literally hurt you in almost every way...while having an uncanny savvy about him.
He’s probably going to win all of the national POTY awards, so he is getting plenty of pub.
I'm not a big NBA watcher, but seems like he'll have a long, solid but unspectacular career due to his lack of explosion and the fact that he doesn't have that killer first step.
No not this year. Not strong or physical or quick enough for the NBA now. His shot will continue to improve and he’s longer then you think.
I could picture him developing into an 8th man specialist over the years and having an NBA career
that kid screwed up not picking Michigan. His skill set fits our system perfectly. Nothing against Maryland either, I just think he fits our scheme better than Turgeons

His career has been pretty good for a sophomore and growing. I doubt he has any regrets

I was more being facetious but it's gotten to the point if Kentucky, Duke, or Kansas isn't 35-0 it's a "down year"
Update on OSU’s suspended SG Kam Williams for those interested. Would be very surprised if he played against Purdue or anyone the next few games. Rumor is a bad classroom report got back to Coach Holtmann, but that’s just speculation.

During the game, Williams was not on the bench or with his team. Holtmann said that he does not know when that will change moving forward.
“We expect him back at some point, but it is really going to be a day-to-day decision,” Holtmann said. “At this point, he needs to do some things and we need to have more conversations and until I feel comfortable with that, I don’t expect him to play.”
Williams had been a major part of the Buckeyes’ offensive game plan during the season. Playing 22 minutes, the senior guard led Ohio State in three-point field goal percentage, connecting on 46.3 percent of attempts from deep.”

Izzo is covering up rape and sexual assault without suspending players, Pitino is letting a guy who assaults women everywhere he goes play until he gets kicked off the campus, and here Holtman is suspending players over bad grades.

On a meal plan and using the Super Bowl as your “cheat meal” calls for an uncomfortable evening. I will say the 3:30 start time was badass
I almost bet IU last night thinking Rutgers shot their wad against us...but can't trust IU on the road and think they might have a little hangover after that outstanding effort against MSU so chose to leave that one be.
The homemade green chili and bacon mac n cheese I made is still sitting like a brick in my stomach.
And of the 9 people I had over, 4 of them made biscuit-based dishes which didn't help the gut either. Note to self: apparently no one checks the google sheet for super bowl dishes.
You saw the effort against Ohio State. Now Rutgers isn't Ohio State, but a farther travel with one day in-between is tough.
Same here with some pulled pork and bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers. So damn good though.
