*Official* 2017-2018 B1G In-Season Thread

Same shit was said after IU and others this B1G season when the game was close

And we all know who it is. You’re my boy Pig
All is well...just wanted to be clear that I don't expect wins by showing up. The other team wants to win too. IU could have easily been on the other side of that Purdue game. Same for Michigan, Michigan again, and Rutgers.

My bad bro. Carry on.SmokinSmile

Saw your score today. Close call. I had a boys HS game this afternoon, then a sectional final(girls tonight). So I didn't get to watch any hoops this afternoon. Hell I was FFW my ass on the IU game, trying to catch up.

Frustrating. But better times will be ahead with Miller. He can flat out coach. No shooters. None. PG position makes me want to drink. No depth. I appreciate what Johnson and Newkirk have given. But GOD DAMN will I be glad when they fvking graduate.

Very excited about the future of Indiana basketball.

RoJo at least has some upside with potential shot making, I just don’t knwo what Newkirk brings to the table. He was awful today. Obviously can’t shoot, but poor decision making on top.

Yeah Sanders went off. Pulled it out though. Need to find our 3pt stroke. Hopefully this 3 day break to prep for our biggest week helps us. Vince has been battling illness the past two games.

He has had some mediocre moments but that pass right out of bounds happens way too often

What drove me crazy was the sequence when he took a bad three and missed by a mile and then took another one early in the clock after IU hustled to get the offensive rebound. He knows that he isn’t a good shooter, it was bad. What’s the opposite of a heat check? That shot was a cold check to confirm that he cant shoot worth sht.

It’s been the same old song and dance all season

There is not a single doubt in my mind that I could be better than most of the NFL refs. Those guys suck ass. College bb, eh idk. Probably.
I have a ton of doubt. Like 100% doubt. Yeah there are officials who are absolutely terrible. But even those guys do, and would do a much, much better job , than someone who's never done it. I know people get frustrated with the officiating. Hell I do. Hell I get frustrated with myself, for some of the calls I have made. But for the most part, and for the majority, the calls made are correct. Folks just remmeber the bad ones. No one ever talks about a good call.

It seems easy. Watching at home, on your 75", HD television. And with the luxury of ESPN's 25 different camera angles. Not to mention the 3D view . Or the slow motion. But it's a whole different beat when your are on the floor with these athlete's. The speed of the game is insane. The level of play, athletic wise is just as insane. Then throw in the intensity. The crowd. The coaches. Yeah, it ain't as easy as that big ol' HD TV makes it seem.

That was just awful. There is a reason he waas wide open----AGAIN. It wasn't b/c of bad defense. Or bad rotation. IT.WAS.BY.DESIGN.

A good PG would've reset the offense. But we are talking about Newkirk. SO what's he do?

Yeah---Shoots it again.

Jesus....

Yeah that was a crazy post. There is no way in fck he would be a better than any of these nfl refs.

Wow Bmore is an absolute scumbag. Picked Robbie Hummel clutching his knee as my avatar choice.

Exactly what am I looking for/at, here? The video was OK. Are you questioning rather Duncan walked? Or do you feel he was bumped, or grabbed? TBH, I dunno what the complaint is .

Minnesota was actively fouling him in a situation where the defense needs to foul. Robinson was mugged.

They let that go on for several seconds and instead of calling the foul that Minnesota WANTED the ref calls a travel on Robinson.

The fact that you can't even see that speaks volumes to the extent you will go to defense refs.

Bmore i cant wait to beat u in an avatar bet, youll rock Giligans avatar forever you degenerate

Where did I defend them? I asked a question becasue the video wasn't very good. SO I asked exactly what it is I was supposed to be looking for.

So please show me where I defended them?

That isn't clear to you that fouls were missed? The video shows it just fine.

Guess I didn't watch it long enough. Yeah, that is a foul. Or two or three. I dunno know why it wasn't called. Maybe the official felt the contact wasn't that bad. I dunno. Missed calls are part of the game. Bad officiating is part of the game. Just like turnovers are. Or missed shots. Or missed FT's. All play a part in the game.

Glad you admit it was bad officiating.

IU and Rutgers didn't let me down, ended up losing money on the Michigan-Minnesota game. Watched the IU-MSU game in the Mirage sports room with a group of IU fans, was pretty fun.

What were the spreads? Pretty cool at the sports books. At some point I'll get out there for March.
