I would probably have to bet against Purdue if that was indeed the line lol
was surprised that Iowa was not in the preseason top 25. after winning the BTT Championship and winning the Silver Medal. as they return all but 1 pitcher off of that team
yes they lost their 1st Baseman that led the nation in HR's, BUT they do return most of their key players along with a class in 2016 rated the #1 recruiting class in the BT.
THE 2017 class was rated the 2nd best class in the BT.
that class had 7 Perfect Games top 500 with 4 of them in the top 100, but they did lose Probst to the MLB Draft.

I agree. BUT..........It's not like Miller has had a surfire guy to replace him with. All three "PG's" are awful. I like the change. But not sure if long overdue.

That line was bet down and Purdue didn't win by 12 if you didn't notice. Recent close games will keep the spread down some as well.
Recent performance vs spread effects the team's line going forward. Purdue hasn't covered in 4 straight games, the line will not be at -11.5 vs the #14 ranked team in the nation.
Here's a novel idea. Rutgers isn't gonna defend the #1 and #13 3pt shooting teams the same. Crazy thought I know.
As thrilled as I am with the start....I'm still quite leery. We are capable of not scoring for long, long, long stretches.
