There have been numerous times over the past four games that Purdue has forced the shot that it wanted the opponent to take, only to see those shots go in. I think that might be a function of opponents playing relaxed, without feeling a lot of pressure. I think it’s good for Purdue to have to face that.
The concern against Rutgers was defensive rebounding. Purdue is going to have to play better against OSU in what is probably the most important game of the year in terms of winning the Big Ten regular season title.

Agreed that he was the starter that would hurt the least amount but it’s still a killer. We pretty much play six players big minutes and he was one of them. And he and Jackson are pretty much the only ones who stretch the floor. Well I guess kbd does a little too. But this one hurts... hopefully it’s something minor

Really no use in doing that anymore. Time to accept that Keita Bates Diop is the clear Player of the Year winner this season and any other player winning it after the conference season hes had would be a sham.

Yep they didn’t score a point the last 10:11 of the first half. OSU went on a 19-0 run to end the half after being down 30-15.

Yeah, the only way I could see it going elsewhere is if Purdue somehow wins the league by 2+ games, and VE gets votes based on team success. But I agree that simply on the merits of his play, KBD is clearly the B1G POY at this point.
Probably. Purdue has so much more depth than Osu especially with Williams out. Osu has had such a great season but it’s mainly bc of great coaching and a stud in kbd. I don’t give them much of a shot on the road against a great team like purdue
I dunno, man. Purdue has looked a bit shaky the past two weeks and Ohio State will have the best player on the floor. Either way, should be an outstanding environment at Mackey on Wednesday.
I'll be happy with a split this week - and would prefer to get the OSU win to enter the final two weeks with at least a one-game lead in the conference standings.
Well, Sucks to have your best 3pt shooter suspended before the game, but 11-1 in the B1G is simply amazing. Can’t complain at all. Incredible season so far. Congrats to Illinois for playing so hard as usual. KBD picks up the slack. Headed to Mackey Arena and playing for 1st place in B1G regular season. Improbable for sure. Purdue looks too strong, but you never know. Keeping hopeful.
Has there been any indication what triggered the suspension? And I'll be interested to see if this is a Coach K "indefinite" suspension or a multiple-game absence.
Osu will need purdue to continue the shaky play. If they play like they have for most of the year then it won’t be a game. Purdue is the best team in the country imo

There are only so many all conference spots for this group of forwards and these are just the frontcourt players.
Still got Cowan, Carsen, Dakota, and the penn state guy who is dope as guards who deserve honors.
And then obviously Isaac Haas will be either 1st or 2nd team as well.
Very cluttered for all conference honors this year

So OT (kinda'), what's up with frequently getting a message of "Your content can not be submitted."? It says something about spam like content but sometimes it happens with the most mundane text.
