Hard to bitch about the UT game when you spot them 25.
The point being that the talent gap that people like to push as a reason certain conferrences are more difficult to play in than others is pretty much horseshit. You have middle of the pack and mid major teams not only sticking with these teams but a shot or two away from beating them. The narrative that there is this huge gap between the best and middle needs to die.

But there is a HUGE difference. The tournament is a crazy animal. The best.most talented teams sometimes do not win. UK has worlds of more talent than Wofford----It ain't close. Duke has tons of more talent than UCF---And it ain't close. BUT talent isn't always enough. Or, you get a team who has a dude go crazy on you(Dawkins for UCF).
Wanna know why these teams can, and often do give the "Big Boys" fits?

And to be fair, mid-major teams are starting to get some really good talent. BUT....lets be honest----It still isn't close to the talent that Duke, UNC, UK, KU, etc, etc....are getting.

FSU lost to Duke this year also because we couldn’t secure a missed free throw rebound when up 1. That was on us. And this was on UCF.

Diakite played probably his best game this year. OU definitely wasn’t going to let Guy beat them.
Need more Jay Huff. Have a feeling Guy will shoot much better in Louisville too
