Kansas vs WVU

35 to 2......

2!!!!!!!!

We should get more than 2 FT's just on blown calls alone. Still not the reason we lost the game. We just quit playing.
I’d agree. Usually every team gets a handful by default. The numbers are staggering.....both ft AND the fact you guys only took 12 shots in the paint. One leads to the other. Ugly game but smart play rules at the end

Enjoy circle jerking with your Kansas buddies about your worthless Big12 conference title streak while everybody else in the country laughs about your pitiful tourney performances year in and out.

You should provably take a look at NCAA wins since 2000 before you post again.

Kansas fans will defend this ridiculous free throw discrepancy. When in reality they should be pissed that their team is coddled so much in conference play that they can’t handle the rigors of NCAA play. Which is why they are pitiful when it comes to the tournament and when it really matters. But Kansas fans can enjoy their Big12 conference champ streaks until the end of time while everybody else laughs at them

majority of our shots were drives. You guys basically didn’t drive all game long. The few times you did, you got a foul call. But you fell in love with the jump shot.

I’m not afraid to admit when we get a favorable whistle. UK got jobbed real bad a couple years ago. KSU got a bad whistle last year. I can think of a couple of ISU games that we got some favorable officiating. Tonight was not one of them. Hell, I think WVU has a better argument for getting jobbed last year than this. I remember feeling that we got a few favorable calls late in that game last year. But tonight’s game not so much. You simply don’t get calls when you don’t put the other team in position foul you.

WVU settled for jumpers all game. They didn't attack inside. Hell Konate took more jumpers than shots in the paint in this game. The lopsided FTA attempt had a lot to do with how each played the game. KU attacked with the dribble and threw it inside to Doke. WVU settled for jumpers. If they called every played correctly with how much WVU was fouling it would have been more like 50-10 FT difference.

How many jumpers did Dok take ? 0

How many did Konamte(sp) Atleast 5. The same could be said for Carter and the rest of guards.

WVU has a reoccurring theme with their losses but it’s the “refs” to blame for their loses

KU has been in two national title games in the last 10 years, and been to the Elite Eight several times. Probably would have another one if Embiid doesn’t get injured. But that’s luck of the draw. What has your team done?

It’s easy to win 1 v 16 machtups every year when you’re automatically slotted into them due to winning your worthless rigged conference championships. When you actually have to play good teams without the benefit of friendly refs your team folds like a card table

Doke had 8 FGA. We all know those 8 were in the paint. 8 just from Doke to WVU's 12.

Off the ball fouls is what KU, and everybody else gets away with against us.

Why does freedom of movement only apply to ball handlers, and not cutters? I could pull up 2 dozen obvious fouls on KU off the ball if you really wanted me to.

Still not why we lost.

LOL at all the KU fans who complain about WVU not having fouls called on them each game.

Tournament wins during that span include: Memphis, UNC, MSU, Ohio State, Villanova, Kentucky, Duke, Syracuse and Arizona to name a few. 45 tournament wins during that time. That's with a couple years of no wins. We do fine, thanks bruh.

Enjoy your fantasy world.

You can try and spin it any way you choose, there is no excusing a 35-2 ft advantage. Azuibuike flopped like a feinting goat on that one play and shot 2 foul shots and 2 refs were looking right at it.. Give the big guy credit, he hit his foul shots tonight.

I think KU is 47-17 this century. They average a little shy of 3 wins per tournament. So basically almost an Elite Eight average for nearly 20 years. Not bad. I think there’s only 1 or 2 programs with more wins in March.

Edit - Could be off if you’re listing 45 wins. Haven’t added it up in awhile so I might be wrong.

The dude literally pushed him 4 times and put both hands on him at one point. Really poor example bud.

Daxter Miles is dragging his D all over Kansas

He now joins a Lights Out list
Durant, L
Hield, L
Miles, L
.....
No shame

I seriously hate this team. Laughing
(Looks around) which one? LaughingWinking

WV gave the game away at Morganton, but the refs have screwed WV tonight, and it was very blatant.

gameS, UK wasn't the only team to get fortunate in MorgantoWn. Winking

And Kansas fans wonder why they dominate he Big12 yet can’t do shit in the NCAA tourney? If only they could play the Final 4 in Allen Fieldhouse with Big12 refs. They’d probably have a dozen National Championships by now. As it is they can only cling to conference titles while all of their peers enjoy lapping them in national championships.

Geezus take your L like an adult and move on. Loser

We've only just begun the John Higgins Experiment
You ain't seen nothin yet.

When you take 61 shots and 49 of them are jumpers from 15 ft. and out, expecting to get to the FT line over and over is going to be awfully difficult.

I really thought they'd feed Konate down low... but, no.
Like Self leaving Dok in at the end of the OK game, I def thought Huggs could've done better.

People who use free throw disparity as a reason to blame refs demonstrate their lack of b-ball IQ

Insane. Kansas got the game handed to them. What pathetic garbage. Seriously disgusted at this.

Bro... you shot 33 more ft's than us.

33........ think about that for a second.

Neat. FT discrepancy is the worst statistic look at when teams have entirely different offensive and defensive philosophies. WVU puts pressure on every possession. KU wants to limit fouls due to lack of depth. Leads to less fouls by Kansas. WVU took a majority of jump shots. KU took more shots in the paint. Both of those things lead to disproportionate fouls being called on one team. Add that the more aggressive team offensively generally gets more whistles and it's not that complicated or hard to understand.

He flopped for sure. But he was getting fouled. Svi got called for the same thing on the previous play. The WVU player didn’t need to flop to get the call. When you’re a big guy though, ya gotta sell that shit.

Post the video and we'll see who is right.

What video are you looking for?

Already shown Miles getting hammered taking it to the rim with no call.

Already shown Dok pushing a guy in the back with no call.

What would you like to see?

Doke flopped and there was no question about it. It looked like he got shot at close range with an elephant gun. He reached in late in the game too.

The Dok "flop". He got fouled.

ETA: I'm not saying he didn't flop, I'm just saying it was the correct call.

A 180 pound kid had his hand on the chest of a 260 pound man.... and he flew across the floor like had been hit by a train.

You need to try wayyyy harder to come up with an example to prove that you're not a blind homer.

That same guy threw an elbow to the throat of Sags, and it was all good in your eyes. lol

Never mind literally hugging our players and getting a “warning” from Higgins. Or the blatant push by Carter at the end of the 1st half that stole a possession away from KU allowing for the halftime tie. There were a ton of off the ball fouls that WVU got away with. Every team gets away with them every game. Especially WVU, cause you can’t call them all. The difference in officiating is what kind of shots are being taken. And WVU did absolutely nothing to get to the line. KI drove and drove and/or got the ball to Doke. They got the WVU defense out of position so many times, and that is how you get to the line.
