Many states have bans against aborting non-viable fetuses that late. Women there are required to carry the dead fetus to term, endure labor, and give birth. As Governor of Indiana, Pence signed a law requiring funerals be held for abortions and miscarriages.
Sure, late-term abortions of a viable fetus should fall outside the medically-accepted point of viability and therefore not be permitted.

Given my experience with seeing how developed 2nd and especially 3rd trimester babies are, choosing to terminate a healthy and viable pregnancy at those stages is pretty sickening.

Nah. I have the utmost respect for nurses because they get stuck doing things that are the reason I chose imaging instead of something else. It’s not much of a diss.

Never understood the nurse diss. It’s a reapectable profession.
One of my oldest friends is a nurse who flies in helicopters and transports wounded to the nearest hospital. She does this every day and no one knows her name.
Yeah, seems weird, especially with how most people will have their lives or a loved ones life in the hands of a nurse at one point or another.
Just saw a gofundme for a guy who does this that died because the helicopter crashed. Guy had an expecting wife and another child. Died trying to keep someone else alive.

I wonder what goes down in his hospital. I’ve worked for several and haven’t really seen anything out of what I’d expect.
WHich is stupid. Nothing wrong with a male being a nurse. At all.
A male nurse probably saved my life. When I was having my heart issues, he , not the doctor, noticed an abnormality in my rhythm. Led the doctor to placing a take home monitor on me. Three days later, due to the monitor, my heart defect was discovered. We sent him a $100 gift card, and a thank you card.
