Trump

Trump, without defending him, is typically a reactive insulter. You're acting as if he is the only one who plays this game. Obama was the biggest divider of our time. Then Hillary tried to up his game. Trump may say divisive things, but it is the left and their propaganda outlets who are the biggest dividers of all time. Half of what y'all say Trump says that is divisive is either out of context soundbites or flat out lies that are meant to divide. Such a stupid hill for libs to die on.

There’s water right there. It’s right there. But you won’t drink.

Eating up the propaganda angle that Trump spins is a big part of the problem. You’re blind to the conservative propaganda. You’re blind to their influence in media because you buy the argument that they’re somehow outgunned and the underdog. That’s never been the reality.

Convincing people that they’re the underdogs fighting the establishment will go down as a masterclass in manipulation. They bought it. It worked.

You don’t see how inciting a riot (he did it, we have the video, there’s no other way to spin it) relates to his dangerous rhetoric?

Pick your head up out of the sand and join us in the real world.
We do have the video. Where he said peaceful and patriotically. There was also a video of him telling his supporters to not be violent. People really need to get their heads out of the sand when it comes to what actually happened.

Okay man. Well, good luck.

About 20-50 million people in that particular group of Christians don’t typically vote. Nobody ever said that Christians don't vote at all. I don't see how you're struggling to understand this. And again, Trump embellished a lot, he lies a lot. He says a lot of stupid things. But he absolutely did not claim that there would not be another election if they voted for him.

Nobody said he said that Christians don't vote at all. No matter what he meant, it makes no sense.

From a recent article by Baker Institute for Public Policy:
  • Religion’s influence in U.S. politics has surged, and Christian voters may have a greater impact on 2024’s election results than ever before.
  • Practicing Christians are much more likely to vote compared to other eligible voters — giving them an outsized influence on election
So you admit that he lies a lot, yet you trust him to follow through on campaign promises?

That rhetoric about "eliminating the Deep State," fixing the migrant problem, etc sounds great. Only problem is that he'll never be allowed to accomplish those goals even if he truly intended to.

Man. Move on. The point was that he wasn't saying that there wasn't going to be another election. Not that what he said made sense.

I don't expect him to carry out every campaign promise. I am not an idiot who worships every word that a politician says. My vote is more of a rejection of liberal ideologies than it is for Donald Trump, the person. Trump was clearly and undeniably the better option for our country. You can stand on your high horse screaming about third parties all day long. That doesn't move the needle for me.

That’s usually a message that comes from the top. Based on 8 years of constantly talking to America, that ain’t a message the top is going to send. There’s a very good argument that sowing division was a big part of the winning strategy.
Are you saying democrats have been friendly open folks to the right since 2015.

You are ex’s to the reason why you lost this election.

But you just can’t be honest.

People heard him say march peacefully.

Why was Ray Epps not arrested and investigated.

Why did the Capitol police open doors and joke with protesters. Why did Oelosi turn down national guard help.

But I do thank you being just an absolute liberal idiot. You got Trump elected.

Have you heard Trump speak about his enemies?

That’s rhetorical. You and I both know you have and you know what he and his supporters have said.
And you know what Biden and Harris and liberals have said about half the country.

Are you really this F’ng stupid.

I think this election was decided by people like me. The left got way too loony tunes. The pendulum had to swing back; I just didn't know there would be a chainsaw attached. What a bloodbath. Voted red for the first time in my life.

It might’ve been. I don’t know what loony tunes stuff the left did, though. Kamala’s campaign was short on substance. Critics are right that she didn’t really commit to much or make much of a case other than ‘hey, I’m not Trump.’

She didn’t go into the socially fringe stuff either, like transgender whatnot or race blah blah. It wasn’t crazy, imo, it was just bland.

That's funny. Perhaps she didn't campaign on that stuff. But she is for tax payer funded sex change surgeries for illegal immigrants and prison inmates. She strategically used speakers and platforms to emphasize on race and culture. Her running mate is known for tampons in middle school boys' bathrooms. There is no limit on abortion up to birth. Considered litigation for punishing parents who didn't provide their children with gender affirming care and was openly advertising that his state was a sanctuary for minors to have gender affirming surgeries. Not to mention where both of them stood on the 2020 riots. You know, the actual riots. The riots where there were $2 billion in damages and over 40 deaths.

So yeah, they didn't campaign on that shit, but we all knew where they stood on it.

I like how the Democrats are arguing about why she lost. One side says she was to left, the other says she was to far right, and the rest blame sexism/racism.

Agree she definitely also had nothing to say. The fear mongering was pathetic, also. That's the thing that also kind of concerns me. The Dems left nearly half the country accusing the guy of being Hitler, etc. Oprah said they'd lose their right to vote? Like I said, looney ****ing toons.

Since all of those are subjective to each voter, they’re probably all true.

Same thing happened after Trump’s loss. Well… other than the psychopaths who thought voter fraud was a thing. That’ll be an interesting thing for scholars to look at years from now.

Well if that’s the looney tunes stuff, then I saw it on both sides. Trump’s campaign said the economy would implode, kids would get sex changes willy nilly, they even fvcking said democracy would end lol. After pretending the rhetoric led to the assassination attempts on his life, Trump pumped out violent rhetoric himself.

Crazy shit all over the place.

It's probably 3 binders of empty pages now.

I think the first page has some writing on it. Probably something like, “idk, ask Elon”

Then Elon will come out with ‘dark healthcare.’ It’s normal healthcare but… dark. If asked about it he’ll remind people that he makes rockets go zoom. The world will rejoice.

Maybe it's Tesla/X healthcare.

I did like that Trump was honest in one interview about it a while back. They asked him why he didn't replace or stop the ACA when he was president and he said because they didn't have anything better to replace it with.

Funny when you get butthurt about people twisting or taking Trump's words out of context but are quick to do it here. You seem to be educated on the sex change for inmates comments...so give us some background on the policy. How about some evidence?

TIA

Libertarian. Lol

I'm interested to see what Don's healthcare plan will be.
This is going to come out as whataboutism. Not trying for it to be. And Trump should have had a plan put together by now, good or bad. Just something to present to the people.

But what has improved over the past 4 years and what was Kamala going to do to improve it over the next 4 years?

It seems to me that it is something that has been largely ignored by both parties and presidents/candidate.

Probably won't happen, but it would be nice if RFK could have a productive role in helping the country focus on health. Which in the long term would positively impact healthcare. But I worry that there will be too many character clashes between he and Trump for that relationship to last very long. He may even just bail out now that Trump was elected and call it mission complete.
