Trump

No I know, just a friendly convo. But I do hope it eventually swings the other way and we start to see lower costs. It's also embarrassing what the CEO's pay themselves. Criminal.
I know it's a big talking point with the fiscal left. But wealth and luxury is something that everyone can seek. If the corporations are paying competitive wages and providing employees with opportunity to advance, that's all that matters. Of course the CEOs are going to become wealthy, that's the idea. We focus too much on what we call corporate greed and not enough on giving people the drive to enrich themselves by working hard and setting goals. Obviously there are many obstacles and some people have more than others. But we should never teach our kids to envy people who are better off than they are. We should teach them to chase dreams, work hard and try the best they can. Anyone who works hard and does their best will find success.

I missed that part.

Link??

Man, 74 million people didn’t believe a F’ng thing libs have said, voted them out of power based on him being in office previously, but you still continue with the BS.

Oh you must not have been paying attention. That’s a shame. Maybe next time you’ll see it?

I can’t think of any parents I know who don’t try to teach their children to be successful and chase dreams. Working hard and settings goals is at the core of existence within a society. That’s why you don’t tend to see people sitting back and asking for handouts. Removing barriers to moving up in society and being successful is important.

Well, there are absolutely parents out there who teach their kids that CEOs are evil and they're fvcked because they'll never be rich like those guys. My younger brother (who you remind me a lot of) is one of them. He's one of those who says, "why work, you will have nothing to show for it". And ironic to your point, he literally stands on a street corner looking for a handout.

To Putin eating Don’s lunch? Like a Big Mac?
Please enlighten us as to how Putin ate Don's lunch.

Why didnt Putin invade Ukraine when Trump was in office?

Why is Putin ready to speak with us now after Trump was elected.

Why have conflicts in the world now taking a step back because Trump was elected.

Why did Putin fire the person who was messing with Hunter when Joe withheld money.

Being Jewish I have a whole different level of white privilege that the rest of you common whiteys never get to experience. For instance, on the drive to work today I stopped and bought a bank.
and an NBA team to keep up with the Schwartz's, Goldsteins and Rosenberg's.😜

Why didnt Putin invade Ukraine when Trump was in office? He was using Trump to soften Ukraine and support for Ukraine. Trump is documented as having threatened military aid to Ukraine. That wasn’t a coincidence or independent of Putin’s influence.

Why is Putin ready to speak with us now after Trump was elected. Because peace in Ukraine means Ukraine giving up land that Russia illegally took. Biden set a firm stance against Russia’s aggression. Trump is more likely to acquiesce to Russia’s terms and call it ‘negotiating.’ Human rights (ignoring Russia’s violations) and the idea of nations having sovereignty aren’t concepts Trump holds in high regard.

Why have conflicts in the world now taking a step back because Trump was elected. You and I have no idea how these conflicts are going to shake out or if they have taken actual steps back. Like I said, Trump is unbothered by human rights violations. To him, Palestinians are likely akin to gum he’s stepped on in the street. Giving land to Russia isn’t a step back in conflict, it’s appeasement that will lead to more conflict. Trump doesn’t concern himself with long term consequences, though, because they might happen after his term so they’re not his problem. This is one of the many dangers with the way he thinks and his lack of critical problem solving skills.

Why did Putin fire the person who was messing with Hunter when Joe withheld money. This means nothing to anybody and you weirdly shoehorned it in here.

Your brother sounds nothing like me, then. I think I mentioned it before, I’m not the Lib you want me to be. When you try your funny characterizations of me, you tend to miss by a lot.

The other stuff is just sarcastic jabs. Here I am just saying that some of the stuff you say and some of the stuff he says are eerily similar.

In fairness, Trump did say this would be the “last time we have to vote.”
Come, on now...He was talking about Christians, and how they don't vote. Saying, 'vote now, and you won't have to anymore..'

If that needs explained, it's not worth doing so

Don't bother. He can't wrap his head around this. He will point out the percentages of voters who are Christians. But can't figure out that Trump was speaking to a particular group of Christians.

But they do vote. In fact, more than any other group.

Who would tell even one of his supporters that they'll never have to vote again? Especially after losing the last election.

What does "We'll have it fixed so good you won't have to vote" mean?

Lol. No, your explanation isn't hard to understand. It just doesn't make sense.

But I get it. People so badly want to believe that Trump is who he claims to be that they'll excuse anything he says or does.

Curious...what do people here think about the UN/World Economic Forum's "Great Reset" agenda? Anything to be concerned about?

Making corporations responsible to society and the common good instead of just generating profits for shareholders = Good

Giving corporations any kind of power at all to govern or create policy = Bad. ‘End of civilization as we know it’ Bad

They should have a seat at the table (a large table with many seats). They should not have THE seat at the table.

You have to be trolling. He wasn't talking to ALL Christians. He was talking to a specific group of Christians. Where 25 million of them typically don't vote.

Direct quote from Klaus Schwab in 2017: "What we are very proud of now is how we penetrate the cabinets around the world."

More quotes from Schwab/WEF members:

"By 2030, there will be no more private cars. Highways will become parks."

“You’ll own nothing and be happy.”

“America will no longer be a world superpower”

“All aspects of our societies and economies [will be] revamped."

“Capitalism as we know it is dead”

"We will have not less--we will have more globalization."

"The Fourth Industrial Revolution is coming with enormous speed. It will affect the very essence of our human experience."

"I call it Globalization 4.0."

"At first we will implant them in our clothes [microchips]. And then we could imagine that we will implant them in our brains or in our skin. And in the end, maybe, there will be a direct communication between our brain and the digital world. What we see is a kind of fusion of the physical, digital and biological world."

Anything concerning there?
