I think there were quite a few teams that could've easily been interchangeable between 1 and 2 seeds.

Yeah, because otherwise you lose in the National title game one year----Elite 8 the next.

Gonzaga's schedule had nothing to do with their loss. They handled a very good FSU team in the SW 16. Schedule didn't seem to bother them, then.. Gonzaga just lost to a really good team. That simple.
