Hall left the program in really good shape and Sutton had a stable of great players so he could hit the ground running. Hall also played basketball, was Rupp's assistant for years at Kentucky and has remained a dedicated fan and helper with the program ever since he retired.

Tubby sold out UK by accepting a job long before he told UK about it. Tubby left the program in worse shape than when he got there.

I don't expect to see Tubby up in the rafters because of his exit.

That is good to hear. As I said a long time back---It would eventually become an issue. Someone was gonna say someting---It was just a matter of time. My brother lives blocks from Rupp Arena. Said he had an encounter with an employee of UK, who was black, and asked him----"How long you worked here"? Gentleman replied----"12 years". Brother's response was---"So in the past 11 years, give or take a few months, it didn't bother you----But now it does"?

Well, I don’t have access to UK brass, so I don't know for sure. I can only speculate, but if you look at it, you can see why Hall is in there and Tubby isn’t. Hall coached under Rupp, won titles under Rupp, he coached at UK for 14 years. He ended his career at UK and is still a staple of the program.

Tubby was there 11 years, but he didn't end his career there and he left in a sketchy way.

However, we don't know for sure that Tubby WON'T have his name in the rafters. The guy is still coaching.

Lastly, I refuse to play this stupid racism game. Calling people racists, in this case, an entire university, is ridiculous. But that's what race baiters do. Everything is racist if it doesn't cater to minorities.
