Place to put my Nonsense Thread.

No idea what he has passed. It is what he has done and not done that is the important factor.
So you don’t know what he has passed. Interesting.

Talk to me more about what he’s done vs not done. I’m all ears

You’ll hear more about last years 1/6 event today alone than youve heard about the Waukesha massacre in the past 6 weeks.
Is this the part where we pretend “the media” won’t cover it because it doesn’t fit their narrative?

That’s a fun mental gymnastics game.

Why do you think fox covered it so much more than CNN and MSNBC? Why don’t you think Joe visited the community?

He hasn’t visited Waukesha which is weird for a president to not do after a tragedy like that.

I’m sure what those families need in order to heal during a time like this is to be in a crowd where others are chanting “Let’s Go Brandon.”

That’ll do the trick

Every tragedy like that I looked up this century the presidents visited the community. Bush, Obama, Trump. It’s odd that Biden didn’t.

You guys try to act like you don’t support everything Biden does but can’t even call out how odd it is he ghosted Waukesha.

What do you want him to come say?

Something along the lines of whatever Bush, Obama, Trump said to communities when they visit after tragedies like that.

I mean, he did send Jill Biden and Kamela’s Harris husband to visit the community so apparently he felt there was relevance. Just not for him, apparently.

I don’t know if it’s yours and brookys urge to troll or play devils advocate but man this is really something we should be able to collectively call out.

Opinion pieces gonna opinion piece.

I read an opinion piece one time that said trannies in girls bathrooms would make all the women get raped. And another that illegal Mexicans would shoot hard working citizens in the dick.

people say dumb things.
Do you kinda realize that "opinion pieces" are almost becoming "standard news" for the MSM? It goes unchecked and they vomit out this idiocy at a rate I would generously guess is 100 to 1. They are normalizing absurdity.

I agree Biden should have gone to speak to the families at Waukesha. I'm not sure what good calling him out does in terms of the current arguments being made here. How is it relevant except that you want to bring it up every single time anyone mentions Biden? I don't support him so have no issues criticizing him. I find him largely uneffective in most every way. Regardless, whether or not he went is largely irrelevant in any real consequential way.

The First Baptist Church massacre happened in November 2017. When did Don arrive there in person?

You keep saying you don’t suck Republican cock but always seem to have their cocks in your mouth.

Weird.

He should’ve absolutely visited and supported the community. These should be things normal people should agree with across the aisle.

To be fair and not hypocritical, any time a thread says anything positive about Trump I expect you to jump in and mention this. Over and over and over and over...

If I lived near Southerland Springs, I’m sure I absolutely would. When you live close to a mass casualty event like this it tends to sting a little deeper when the POTUS brushes it off.

Ah, so that's the reason. It has nothing to do with who the candidate is or who was involved in either.

It’s disappointing that it’s so political. If nothing else we should all be able to agree the POTUS visiting places like Sutherland Springs and Waukesha is expected of them. That’s a **** up by Trump 4 years and it’s a **** up by Biden now.

The story was out of the national news cycle so quick, and then the president doesn’t visit the community. Just disappointing at the very least.

I don’t know why it’s so hard for you guys to see it that way.

He visited Jacob Blake and Blake’s family a year ago in Kenosha. Maybe he could’ve supported the Waukesha Christmas parade massacre victims in a similar way.
I don’t think he should’ve visited Jacob Blake and his family.

Seemed like political maneuvering and nothing else.

Like I said before what should Biden have said if he did go there?

It isn't hard to see. I agree it is political. I think Trump's probably was as well. Trump was the king of saying things and doing things that favored his base and shitting on the other side but most of you guys thought that was awesome. Both of those guys are awful and couldn't care less about any of us. It is all a power play for these clowns.

I disagree that the only reason you harp on it is because of location though. I think that is pretty obvious and think you probably understand that.

I’ve never sat in on those conversations. Presidents almost always visit the communities after attacks and tragedies like that. Visit with the families, kids, etc. Whatever he told his wife to tell them on her visit I guess.

I also think it does a lot of good in terms of national spotlight / awareness for the victims and their needs.

I mean you can think that all you want but I don’t think you realize how close to home that hit then.

If the Dems had any brains, they would run Harold Ford for President in 2024.

I would vote for him.

There is always a reason/excuse if you really want to find one. If you really want to bring it up over and over then do it both ways. It helps nothing to just be a simp for one party or the other.

Unfortunately, the system is designed to do that.

I wish we had a 10 party system where our votes were actually earned.

Just do away with party nominations and make it where we have to actually write in who we are voting for. President and Vice President. Let the people decide who the VP is too.

I mean you could say that about anyone else in the thread on any other subject.

Look at it this way:
If Trump was the president and did something I thought was messed up towards a community in Texas, I might agree it was messed but it didn’t personally effect me.

If he did that same thing to my community, I’d be more personally effected and more apt to be upset about it.

I don’t know why that would surprise you?

It doesn't. It also doesn't surprise me that you bring it up over and over because it is Biden doing it. It also doesn't surprise me that you won't admit this.

I’d bring it up over and over regardless of who was the president because my community means more to me than whatever jackass is pretending to run the country.

Nah, if it was Trump you wouldn't bring it up over and over every time he is mentioned. No doubt you would care more but you wouldn't whine about it on here as much.
