I think he is setting himself to get some support from those who were all about Trump. He would be pretty entertaining and light the media on fire for sure.
When it comes to his handling of the media, I think he is up there with Trump. Just with more intellect and coherency. As far as him as a politician, I think he is far and away a better fit for being president. He is much more about the people than he is about his own image. I hope Trump gets out of the way and DeSantis runs.

Anyone who entered the capitol through anything other than an opened door should absolutely serve jail time. The problem is, though. We want everyone punished equally. The vast majority of those idiots were ushered in by capitol police and did nothing but walk around. The jackasses who went through windows or occupied the house floor or the chambers and broke through barriers attempting to get to locked off sections of the building, throw the book at them.

I don't put additional value on a physical threat to a senator as compared to any other american. What happened on the 6th was misguided, idiotic, dangerous, and totally uncalled for. The sensationalism afterwards is equally disgusting.
