I have zero sympathy for the people who stormed the capital or those who looted and rioted. If none of those people did the dumb things they did the world would be a better place. The bigger issue is both groups find ways to justify what THEY do that is absurd.

Should I pay $25 for a Super Bowl pool with a $1,000 payout for the final score?
Or $50 for the pool with a $2,500 payout for the final (other quarters obvs payout worse odds than the $25 pool)?
Or should I avoid the pool because the guy who runs it has ignored the idiocy of using the final score instead of the 4th quarter score (makes 1 billion times more sense to go with 4th quarter score).

I like this guy’s pools because your numbers change each quarter. Helps prevent guys winning multiple quarters in low scoring games and also means you usually end up with one quarter at least with decent numbers. He does allow an unlimited number of squares but it hasn’t been a problem I’m the past. I don’t think I’ve seen somebody with more than 4 squares.
But I hate his stubbornness about using the final score instead of 4th quarter.

I like the quarter payouts. If the game sucks, you can still have an interest. Which honestly though, I can't think of a super bowl that has been a blow out, in recent years.
