Don’t think I agree with Tubby winning 2-3 titles even with that talent but I do think if Pitino stays at UK he wins many more titles and is considered the greatest coach ever by the time he’s done at UK. Pitino and UK was the perfect match!

I don't think anyone meant to be intentionally dirty. But... Ark does have a history in baiting UK players, especially with your previous coach. Oscar had a really bad game the 1st go around. His mindset was not to be passive but aggressive and tough. Which he was. He needed to let Mitchell and others know what they're in for. I didn't like the elbow but when your emotions are high in a heated game, with a guy that did good against you the last time, well bad things can happen. Oscar was 100% dog in that battle.
Your team is softer than UK or UT. Talented, but just not tough enough. Your coach wasn't engaged. Most camera swings toward him had him rubbing his head or it hanging down. He was beat in the first half and knew it.
I think they would have to get to the final at minimum. Their first game in the sec tourney will be against uga or south Carolina which won’t help the resume. They will play Kentucky Friday if they win. Than would play tamu, arky, or auburn if they were to beat UK which are all projected tourney teams right now. I also think miss st. Probably needs to have a good showing in Nashville as well to e sure they get in
Being tough isn't the same as being an animal. The guy elbows, slaps, and closelines every offensive possession he's in. Then he climbs over the back for rebounds. I've seen him do it over and all season, especially against Tamu's Marble.
The guy should have, at a minimum fouled out early with flagrants, moving screens, and over the backs. The ejection was a no-brainer.
It very well can be if necessary. The refs called it right. It was non play technical. He did foul out and wasn't much of a factor the 2nd half. Muss was out coached.
Totally agree. He almost had a threepeat championships. He had the savvy to handle the big stage and the demanding fanbase. I was heartbroken when he left. Absolutely gutted.
It's appears he was just out reffed.
Everyone agrees that Oscar should have been thrown out. Our guy goes to the bench with 2 fouls while Oscar gets to play on after throwing an egregious elbow and a forearm to our guys throat.
While our big sits, Oscar makes the KYs next 12 out of 13 points.
Until now, I didn't see the first hand in Michelle's face to start it. Guy is a total POS.

There was just so much more that arkansas did to lose that game and kentucky to win than Oscar not getting tossed. He didn’t score for the last 28 minutes of the game. And he really didn’t rebound that much. he was on the bench with foul trouble a good chunk of the second half anyways.
Musselman and arkansas had no answer for Reeves, weren’t ready for Toppin playing point forward and then struggled against the zone. They weren’t ready for UK to challenge their physical play either. I think they expected we would just fold against it like we did in rupp. It also didn’t help that Davis lost his mind over what was a good call and just handed us 4 points and possession in what was at the time a 1 possession game.
Musselman and Smith both easily could have been t’d up at various points as well.

SEC Tourney in Nashville is going to be fun. I’m going Thursday to see Vandy play the winner of Georgia and LSU. Dores are hurting after losing Liam Robbins but they are still executing offensively at an extremely high level. We have issues on the glass without Robbins, big time (who was also SEC DPOY, so we lost 3 shot blocks and multiple shot alterations per game).
SEC T is wide open, I think Bama wins over UK.
Vandy is playing some good ball. Sucks that UK and Vandy are going to have to play in the Quarterfinals. Will you be there to watch if Vandy and UK play or just there for Vandy vs Georgia/LSU?
