Auburn can’t win rupp. God just won’t allow it. Kentucky losing to vandy at home right after that proves it. We will continue to own Kentucky in auburn arena though.

Good road win without a PG. Cal actually came in with a really good gamelplan and coached well.
I’ll give Cal credit today. Big win at Arkansas with no point guards.

I also liked that he put Toppin on Black from the beginning of the game. That length bothered him. Black killed our PGs in the first game driving the ball.
Was surprised Mussleman didn't put Dais on Toppin....Or ,more pressure.
Yep I would've been pressuring our guys bringing the ball up the entire 2nd half but he kind of just let Toppin bring it up for free most of the game.

Haas would get mauled constantly and refs rarely called it (I'm assuming similar things happen to Tshiebwe). He did get yanked to the ground fracturing his arm in the tournament.
I understand these guys getting frustrated and reaching a boiling point, but throwing bows isn't going to help anything.

I slept through our game and just watched the replay. That was strange but i’ll take it. Credit to Cal(with an assist to the dumbass davis kid from arkansas for his little temper tantrum in the 2nd half) but going on the road and beating a very motivated and talented Arkansas team without a point guard is just fantastic coaching all around. To do that guys gotta be motivated, have a good plan, and adjust to game day variables. Those are all coaching things imo. Players executed though. And reeves was phenomenal.
Also Oscar is lucky he didn’t get tossed. He should have been if we’re being honest. I can’t believe how good a whistle we got in bud walton. But i feel like we’re eventually going to pay for that.

Haas was not mauled in any objective assessment. He was a punk and spread STDs across campus. He was responsible for his own injury as he fell while pulling the defender to the ground. Hook an hold was invented by Painter and it is now a foul.

For the talent he has had he hasn’t won enough though. Especially the last 7 years or so. You guys didn’t tolerate this with tubby smith but you have with cal because his recruiting at least on paper looks better then tubby’s did. Even though the results of late have been largely the same
I would agree with the not enough winning but top talent doesn’t always mean a title. We’ve had a down year here and there but most everybody has. As far as Tubby I loved him and wanted him to do good but his recruiting fell off and he wouldn’t get rid of staff that needed to go. I wasn’t one of the “y’all” crowd that was dying for him to go. I cheered for Tubby and still do to this day.
You give tubby the talent cal has had and he wins 2-3 titles. Pitino was the best for UK though. I firmly believe pitino is up there with coach K in accomplishments if he never leaves UK
